Not pleased with the service here. They don't measure your Pupillary Distance unless you buy glasses through them and are completely unwilling to do it without an additional charge....preventing you from purchasing glasses elsewhere. Although legal, it's a disappointing business practice and even more disappointing service. I do not recommend.

Thank you for your reply, however it only furthers my statement about your bad business practices and low level of service. I hope it proves to many that you're not a business they should attend.

First of all, the reason you don't see me in your records is because this account's name is not my name.

More importantly; the fact that I chose not to purchase glasses through you should not mean I only get 90% of a useful prescription. Which is what you provided by not only not informing me at the time of the exam, but also by charging an additional fee for the "service" that could have been provided by your staff. It's an excellent example of you using a legality to extort money from your customers.

Simply because you are not required by law to provide the PD does not excuse your business from providing a full service to a client...to whom you charged a full fee. You made a conscious decision to charge extra to encourage people to buy through you, or make an extra buck if they go somewhere else. Very sad. Very sad indeed.

My prescription Maui Jim sunglasses broke, and I contacted the amazing team at FYI doctors Wasaga Beach;- not only did they respond positively but immediately! The process to have them repaired was so easy!! The team sent them away, followed up with me to make sure that I received them as soon as they were ready. When I arrived to pick them up, the team took the time to make sure that the glasses fit comfortably and perfectly!! When I mentioned that I didn’t like the soft case that MJ returned them in, I was immediately given a new hard case . I know it seems like a small thing but that kind of extra effort and exceptional service is what makes FYI special and a great choice for your eye care needs!
