Ils nous font promener d'une salle à l'autre , très inconfortable, très serrer la salle d'attendre, une employée m'a dit d'être patiente avec elle, par ce que je lui ais dit que le point orange étais pas centré , c'est pas elle la patiente c'est moi...

Took half a day off work so I could drive my wife to and from her appoinment. She also took half a day of work. Appointment was for 10:50 AM. We arrive at 10:45 and sit down in a FULL waiting room. After 45 minutes and still sitting, we let them know that my wife needs to be back at work for 12:20. Receptionist says that it likely won't happen and we'll need to reschedule. As we are rescheduling, a nurse calls her name. Says she'll administer the eye drops and the doctor will see her right away. The drops are put in and we're put into an examination room. Another 45 minutes pass and no doctor. We go back to he receptionist and reschedule. We were told that this is the way it usually is at this centre. Why do they way overbook? People have lives they have to live. Start being realistic about the number of patients you can see in a day or let anyone checking in know how long the wait is. To make things more ironic, there's a sign that says you'll be charged $50 for missing an appointment if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance. How about we charge you for half a day of work missed for two people.

It appears the clinic has taken on too much since expanding. The wait times when attending appointments used to be fairly reasonable with maybe an hour delay; however, the last few months wait times have been up to 4 hours. Others waiting have become increasingly upset, raising voices at the reception staff. Today as I sit waiting again it is now an hour and a half passed the scheduled appointment time. I understand stuff happens but this is the situation on a continuous basis. It sure makes you feel like the patients time is not respected. Please do better!

Both my husband and I took a half day off work for my appointment at 10:50. I arrived early for my appointment. Approximately 45 minutes later, I approached the front desk and asked them how much longer it would be because I had to be back at work by 12:20. The receptionist said that likely wouldn’t be possible. So, I decided to reschedule my appointment. As I was in the process of rebooking, my name was called. I told the nurse that I needed to leave. Her response was she would put the eye drops in right now and then the doctor will see me right away (after the 15 minutes it takes for the eyedrops to take effect). I took a few seconds to think about it, then said ok. She put the eye drops in (in the waiting room) and I sat in the waiting room for about 20-30 more minutes. I was finally brought into the exam room where I waited for another half an hour or so. No doctor. I went back to the receptionist and rescheduled my appointment. Please be respectful of our time. We are not just random numbers who have all the time in the world to sit in your office. Stop over-booking just for the purpose of making more money. Oh! And I noticed the 24 hour cancellation notice or a $50 fee will be charged…Can you please reimburse us our half day of missed work due to an appointment that didn’t happen (because you overbooked)? Now we have to take another half day off work….

I appreciate all the people who worked there. They’re easy to talk to. They really help you. They’re very friendly. My doctor is great always looks after me very well. He always make sure I come in for my check up.

Takes forever to get an appointment for surgery even if it's urgent. In the meantime, my eyes are getting worse and I have to work and drive. I got a runaround after the first visit; one Dr's receptionist said the other was faster and then that other one said another was faster so I had to have another consult and now been waiting again for 3 more months. Ridiculous.
It's now January 2025 and still waiting. Now can't see out of my right eye. I have tried to call the office and got NO help whatsoever. Same old BS "waiting for the new clinic to open". Useless. A person could go blind in the meantime. They need to learn how to triage. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

I brought my 75 year-old father to his 2:30 appointment about 15 minutes early. Staff put drops in his eyes right in the crowded waiting area, which I thought was weird and incredibly awkward. He waited 1.75 hours and still hadn’t seen a doctor. When he asked, he was told it would be at least another hour or more of waiting, as the doctor had other patients to see first. Another elderly patient asked if it was our first time there. When I said yes, she explained that people didn’t usually see the doctor until 2.5 to 3 hours after their scheduled appointment time. A room full of elderly people with CLEAR mobility issues being forced to sit in uncomfortable chairs for hours and hours because this clinic obviously books more patients than they can handle? And then provides ZERO communication to patients about wait times? This is not patient care. This is not any kind of care. It’s a complete and utter embarrassment. These are people, not livestock.

Before arriving for my result Appointment with Dr. Saad.
I decided to check the reviews. After reading the reviews I had expected to wait at least 2 hours for my appointment.
Was I ever wrong.
Got checked in through receptionist whom was extremly nice, professional and friendly. I sat for maybe 5 min tops. And was called in for drops. And yes the door was closed behind me. Then I was sent over to see Dr Saad. Just sat down and was called in to see the Dr. I only waited 2 min before Dr Saad entered the room. He was extremly thorough explaining everything. Right from the costs of different lenses and what would be best for what i was expecting, surgery side affects, and being sent to Halifax if the surgery wasn't a success. But said the surgeries are 99% successful.
Overall I am 1000% happy with the way things have gone so far.
I will put another review once surgery is completed.
