Dr Saad damaged my eye requiring a cornea transplant which I waited 3 years for. But I now have macular edema caused by the damage he did. I will never see properly again..
He has been given a warning by the College Of Physicians and Surgeons who said he is totally at fault.

Was referred and have been trying to get in for my Diabetic eye exam for a few months now with Dr. Lapierr

The day of the first appointment, I received a phone call advising due to a CoVid situation they would need to reschedule. Fine by me.

Second appointment, I received a call midday to ask if I could change the time for some reason. I advised no, I could not, and we would need to rebook.

I called this morning to confirm tomorrow's appointment, and it was all set. I received a call 20 minutes later to ask if I could move the time again. I said no. I missed another call, and when I called back, I was advised that due to my previous no show, my next appointment was scheduled a month out and tomorrow was canceled. My "no show" which was actually a few hours notice that we needed to change the time of that afternoons appointment (or something to that effect, it was a while back now and I can't remember the details)

So, 3 canceled appointments, and 3 afternoons off work, and still the exam has not been performed.

Needless to say I'll find another opthamologist at this point. The postponements were frustrating but to have yet ANOTHER rescheduled appointment on their end moved for something not at all my fault? No thanks.

Further insult to lost wages, they would not accept that I did not no-show to a previous appointment, despite the fact my recently dialed clearly shows a call from their office several hours before that appointment.

Frustrated does not begin to describe where I'm at.

They are very efficient. They toldy friend it would take her a year to get her appointment in Halifax but she got in much sooner! They were kind and very helpful

As I went in for an emergency appointement, the employees conducting the series of tests were very friendly. Except for Paul Lapierre, the ophthalmologist. He was very rude and seemed like the faster he could get on to the next client the better. Would not recommend him.

Friendly and organizations staff .. moves so smoothly .. Dr Sadd is very sweet .. easy to talk too .. A+ in my book .. I would send everyone I know to him in a heart beat .they rock bigtime
