Was admitted twice thro ER into the ICU in last 2 weeks. Each time I have experienced the best care. Dr. Briskin and Dr. Fiorini treated me with such professional and experienced care that put me back on my feet at discharge. Nurse Practitioner- Rommel Sy and team of nurses were true nurses - compassion, empathy and professionalism. The nurses - Racheal, Sara, Alyshia, Manreet, Brittany, Breah, Doryss, Stephanie, Kyla, Henna and assistants Maddy and Lucas and a couple of names I do not remember need special mention for their kindness, dedication and compassion shown during my care. Their support and kind words pulled me out of the serious state I had been. The Met Hospital should be proud to have such a wonderful and caring staff. God bless them all.

The nurses at this hospital were so helpful and compassionate when I came into the ER with appendicitis! However the paramedic was so weirdly mean? He accused me of faking everything and refused any help until a nurse saw me and he told her not to help me, but I looked so sick she obviously helped me! All of the nurses and everyone who did my surgery were very kind though!!! The paramedic was just a very mean person and made my experience terrifying

I don't know why people hate this Hospital
I have been inside the hospital more than 10 times
the people who works there treats me and my family like family
the treatment was so decent and polite
Besides the hospital is so clean Every single entrance every room every hallway you don't see a piece of garbage here and there

I had emergency c-section on 17 may. I want to say thanks to all labour and delivery room staff but special thanks to my nurse Janie. She is a very professional and caring nurse. Also all the postpartum nurses were great😇. Thanks to all of you for giving me best care.

Waited 6-7 hours, after doctor told us to take our 6M, as if it was an emergency. It’s as if babies have no priority. Apparently he could have RSV, and delaying to go there, would be risky, but if we came and waited 6 hours, and basically the next day, why were we told to come like this? It’s both Rexall’s and their issue. Because we kept waiting, while our baby was surrounded by God knows what kind of illnesses surrounding him. If they cared enough, he wouldn’t be sitting here as a BABY. Like do BABIES have no priority. I also had a root canal the same day, so it’s just been a hectic day. They should learn to prioritize babies if everyone just comes to the emergency section just because. I feel so bad for our baby.

A few days ago, we had to go to the emergency because our child had an infection through the knee and a high fever. We waited for about an hour and a half.

I want to say a big thank you to the whole pediatric team, to Dr. Morgan, and to all the nurses who helped us.

Thank you for taking care of our child and helping him get better. We truly appreciate your hard work and kindness.

My 64 yr old brother had a hip replacement. The care received at the Oullette campus was exceptional. There was a lot of leakage post op from the site and the bandage didn’t hold. We were told by the fracture clinic at the Met Campus to go to the ER as the fracture clinic was closing before we could get there (40 min drive) We proceeded to the ER and then sat for 8 hours while his bandage soaked through his clothes and towel he was sitting on. We were berated for not bringing his pain medication with us. After 8 hours we were brought in to see a doctor. We waited another 2 hours for the doctor to examine and rebandage. Only to be told they didn’t have the correct bandages and we needed to be at the fracture clinic for 6 am for proper treatment. The doctor and nurse in ER were professional and thorough. The admitting and triage people were not. This time line is totally unacceptable. We left after 12 hours to return 4 hours later for proper treatment from the fracture clinic. People get your act together!!! Hire more doctors and terminate half your triage staff. This Emergency Department is a disgrace!
