To Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus. I am writing to express my concern regarding the premature discharge of my father from your hospital. Despite undergoing major surgery on his leg, involving the insertion of two rods, four plates, and eighteen screws, he was not provided with adequate instructions on post-operative care. Specifically, he was not shown how to mobilize safely or change his bandages. As a result, I believe that your hospital has failed to provide him with the necessary medical care and support. I am currently caring for him at home and doing my best to ensure his recovery. However, I strongly feel that it was your hospital's responsibility to ensure he received proper medical attention and rehabilitation before discharge. I hope that in the future, your hospital will take steps to address these issues and provide more comprehensive care to its patients.

Excellent care and service in the Neurology department on the 8th floor. Thank you Alex, Dana, Hailey, Micheal, Carol, Cindy, Sam plus the many others with Dr. Naeem. As a show of gratitude I donated two books that I authored called Post Concussion Brain Empowerment to the ward to assist those who are recovering from brain injuries or neurological problems. This was a positive experience especially when I was going through so much pain with my neurological problem. Thank you to this valuable 8th floor neuro department.

Ive never felt less safe in a hospital the nurses made me more suicidal then I was to begin with the intake nurse yelled at me and shamed me for asking for help and the nurse on the 3rd floor intake waiting room said she had no medical training and still told me my pain wasn't real and my shoulder wasn't really out of place it was. The psychiatrists was very nice and understanding she was more helpful then any of the other psychiatrists there had ever

The worst hospital in the world, and just as horrific as the one on Lens Street (Met).

They drugged my father, experiementing on him with different drugs and then tied him down to a bed all night, with 9 nurses tying him down. They treat humans worse than animals here.

NEVER GO TO A HOSPITAL IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO, go to Michigan and better yet, move out of Canada. All hospitals in Canada should be privatized to ensure the best of the best treatment and workers. Governments that run hospitals end up making hospitals turn to crap, people think they can do whatever they want cause the government is subsidizing them.

Awful experience, awful staff, awful care. Nurses actively show they don’t care about you or anyone else in pain waiting in the ER. Currently still waiting in the ER going on hour 7. Suffering a foot injury, open wound been gushing blood for hours. Triage nurse didn’t even take a glance at it not once, she was also excessively rude and aggressive during triage, harsh tone of voice from the jump also forcibly grabbed my arm and threw it down after taking my blood pressure instead of just telling me to put it down because it was raised too high. Tuesday night 5am - been here since 11pm about 3 people waiting in the ER waiting room including me and have yet to be seen by anybody at all and everytime I ask or anybody else asks how long it might be the nurses basically shoo us away and just say they don’t know anything. At this point I’m honestly wondering what they do know cause it truly seems like nothing. People have been walking out for hours and yet it’s been hours since they called anyone in. Sad to see nurses and hospital staff act as if we are inconveniencing them by being here and being in pain, I thought nurses were supposed to have some empathy and patience. Can confidently say the motto “ outstanding care- no exceptions ” is an absolute lie and the triage nurse working tonight should find another profession because she is clearly fed up with this one and has not one professional bone in her body. Absolutely pathetic ER unless your on the brink of death just wait till the morning and go to a small emergency clinic they’ll take better care of you or at least they won’t make u feel as if your pain is inconveniencing them on what seems to be the slowest night I’ve ever seen in an ER.

Neurology team exceptional. Dr Naeem, Dr Levy and the deeply compassionate and skilled nurses are amazing. Housekeepers, Porters, and kitchen staff all work together with medical team to ensure compassion and hope is provided to those of us who were in our darkest moments....deeply appreciate this Team of Hope.

Hello, I or my mom have been hospitalized several times over the last few years. I have almost always had great staff. From Dr.'s and nurses to x-ray and porters, I have encountered nothing but excellent care and concern from from them all.

However, our healthcare system is the worst I have ever experienced. For example, their policies are terrible regarding medications. I was not told that certain medications wouldn't be given to me during my stay. I feel this is important information but also why does the pharmacy obit carry certain medications? Are they trying to save money on a couple of pills, but because I was denied my meds, I had to deal with the side effects of not taking my meds. Also, there is little communication about said policy and various other things that were discussed during pre-op. So why wasn't that documented so that everyone knows what's happening.
Next, my bed is broken, so I had to eat half laying down. And the light switch is broken to the individual lights? The last 2 are petty, but are annoying consideringIcannot get out of bed.
Now if only we could build another hospital
Do better upper management. Start thinking about patients and not money.

Recently had a Ct-scan at the hospital and waited for about 15 minutes before they called my name.Total time there was about 40 minutes. The nurse was very friendly and helpful. The entrance to the hospital is off Goyeau street and there is a large parking garage.
