I visited this store on the weekend and bought a hoodie representing Tobermory. It’s got a large selection compared to the other stores nearby. But it wasn’t a welcome atmosphere at all. The person at the cashier didn’t even say basic stuff like “Hi” or “Thank you”. I felt very uncomfortable by being treated like that. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone or visit again in the future.

This place has most things clothing related that you may need on a trip! They carry a variety of nice mens and women’s clothing and some items that other stores don’t carry! The staff were mostly very friendly and were eager to help. Definitely stop by if you’re in Tobermory!

This place is a joke when you look at something they pressure you into buying the item. I tried to return the item I bought when I bought it they asked if I wanted the tags off and I said yes and when I went to return it they said I wasn't aloud cuz there wasn't a tag on the recipe it says if they remove the tag you are aloud to return I will never shop there again I'm inraged with these prikes I hope they go bank rupt

The Good: If you have the misfortune of not bringing rain gear on one of the Bruce Peninsula’s many unpredictable rainy days, the Blue Heron Clothing & Outfitters has you covered with a wide selection of clothing, flip flops, water and waterproof shoes, from the most popular, high quality, high end brands: Helly Henson, Columbia, the North Face, and much more. The local staff is very friendly and helpful, the interior and exterior of the store are highly appealing, and it’s conveniently located near the docks in Tobermory,

The Bad: this company has done good on catching up with 21st century technology and creating a website for their hotels and cruises. Their retail store, however, doesn’t appear to have a website. This would be quite helpful in terms of offering customers visual support of their store and stock.

The Ugly: there’s nothing ugly about this store.

Nice shop, the staff is friendly and the store is pretty big. They have a variety of things for home, clothes that say tobermory and much more. Bought some cute things to take home to the family as keep sake. Will definitely be back!

Large selection of brand name clothing priced extremely high, but that’s not why I left the 1 star review. I was treated terribly and made me feel unwelcome. After picking out clothing I was told to wait for another women with nothing at the cash. She was older than I, maybe dressed a little more proper and was given superiority over me. There was two people working the cash and even though I was the only one with clothing at the cash they still wouldn’t check me out. “Told to wait “ even the cashier looked surprised. Well not a good start to out vacation in tobermory. I would highly recommend not supporting this store… people should not be treated this way when your trying to support the local businesses. The fact is I didn’t even need clothes, was just trying to help out a small business after covid.

Nice store with helpful and friendly service, regular prices are pricey, to be expected in such small place. I needed some footwear for hiking and was pleasantly surprised by choices, not everything was available, but better than most local stores of that kind, still using it 🙂
