Do not go here in an emergency, especially not after noon hour. Got in a workplace accident, I waited for 12 hours before being seen by anyone. I was having an allergic reaction, it's a good thing it didn't get worse or I'm sure they would have let me die in the waiting room. The emergency area is uncleanly in appearance and the exam rooms have plaster all over the walls with no paint over it. Certainly not a place that looks well taken care of.
I watched a little girl with a broken ankle walk out with her dad without being seen after 9 hours of waiting. Shameful.

I have had 2 experiences in the ER for pregnancy related issues in the last 2 months. Both experiences were exceptional, the nurses are so caring and the doctors so knowledgeable went above and beyond for me. Best hospital experiences I've ever had in the Ottawa and surrounding area.

Super nice staff, they took good care of me the minute I came in to the emergency.. they were very understandable, and caring.. the doctor was super great also he was able to tell me right away what I had and to also follow up with my family doc since, they will be sending her a copy of everything they did for me to help me out with chest pain related and chronic pain.. couldn't ask for better.

Had my baby here. Had the best nurses they took wonderful care of me and I’ll forever be appreciative of them. Special shout out to little Abby she’s actual the most amazing human being I have ever met! Without her support while trying to learn how to breast feed I honestly don’t think I’d have persevered. As well as Kate and Erica who were integral while I was labouring. Forever grateful to you girls and everyone else behind-the-scenes.
