After two years of seeing multiple professionals without answers, I finally got to Aaron at Alberta Balance Centre. His service was excellent – professional, thorough, and he really knows his area of expertise in balance related issues. He took the time to listen and conduct a comprehensive assessment. What sets Aaron apart is his ability to clearly explain complex information, something I hadn't experienced with other practitioners. After having vertigo attacks for the last 6 weeks and 2 hospital emergency visits, 5 physiotherapy sessions, appointments with an ENT, an ophthalmologist and my family doctor could not help me I found Alberta Balance Centre. The waiting time for the Calgary vertigo specialist is 3 years!!! I could not possibly wait that long. I went to the Alberta Balance Centre which was a true blessing for me. Aaron is one of the kindest, friendliest, and most caring person I have ever met. He is genuinely interested in helping his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and addressed my health problems in a very thorough and gentle way. He truly helped me and I will always go back to his clinic if I need further help. I have been struggling to find out what is causing my issues such as constant non-vertigo dizziness, nauseous, imbalance when walking or standing and unilateral headache on my right side after an ear infection and erupted eardrum. I am waiting for seeing an ENT, which I do not know how long it will take. I am very desperate to find out the reasons why I have those issues and how to properly treat them. Without proper diagnosis, the treatment can be useless. Luckily an audiologist referred me to Aaron’s clinic instead of waiting to see someone in neurovestibular clinic in south campus ( I heard that it may take 2-3 years).I had an initial consult action with Aaron to determine what assessment tests are required and subsequently gone through a few assessment tests. Aaron is very knowledgeable and patient to explain to me how each test is conducted and the related findings in a very clear and detailed way. I am so happy to find out what is causing the issues and can utilize his professional report for future treatment options . I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has dizziness, balance issues, or vertigo. Thank you Aaron, I am truly grateful, excellent job!

During my recent visit to the Alberta Balance Centre, I underwent a comprehensive assessment. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of Aaron, who conducted the initial interview and administered a series of tests. Each step of the assessment process was clearly explained, and the results were discussed in detail.
I was particularly impressed by the comprehensive written final report, which has proven invaluable to my general practitioner.

Aaron took the time to ask preliminary questions that no other doctor would. He did not rush the appt at all, showing he cared and took his time to explain tests, results and outcome with me during the testing. When a test result was near or questionable result, he repeated the test to get a repeatable result.
Highly recommend if you are experiencing Balance disorders or Dizziness.
His testing changed the direction my GP was going with my dizziness. Now I have a chance that my condition can be repaired where as neurology would not test for or identify which would have lead to miss diagnosis and prolonged symptoms, possibly life long.
Now I have hope of recovery.

Aaron is professional and compassionate which isn’t always the case when seeing a specialist. He clearly explained every test and there was absolutely no pressure to do tests beyond what was necessary. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Worth every penny. Thank you Aaron!

Aaron Bynes opened this practice because he understands what it is like for people suffering from chronic dizziness, balance and vertigo to go day after day with no answers. He understands the impact that long wait times for provided services can have on a person’s mental and physical health and that is one of the major reasons why he opened his practice.
He is kind, empathetic, compassionate and treats you like family. He will conduct every test he can think of within his resources to get to the bottom of the problem or to rule out causes for the problem. For me, it was what I needed.
