I'm very surprised by the negative reviews. I've always had great experiences with Dr. Dickson as well as reception at the office. Granted, at times, appointments can be pushed out pretty far, but that's to be expected and is not a reflection of the people who work here. I also have had appointments as quick as a week away.

My husband has been seeing Dr Dickson for decades, the office took our children on as toddlers, and then myself a few years later when my own Dr retired. I have had nothing but exemplary care at this office. From Nancy at reception, to the nurses, nurse practitioners, and Dr Dickson himself. We are treated with kindness and respect at all times but never coddled, expected to be active participants in our own health care, and given dedicated time and patience for our concerns. One of the things I appreciate most is when dealing with our children, Dr. Dickson speaks directly to them and not through me, which I believe is so empowering to young people. We are truly blessed to be cared for by this team

Dr .Dickson has been our family Dr for over 30 years. It’s a joy to visit him. His personality puts up at ease. He is up front with you about your health. I just lost my wife with cancer. He reached out to me asking me if I need his time or anything he was there for me. Great doctor , great office staff.

Dr Dickson has been looking after me for 25 years, he is without a doubt, understanding, thoughtful, compassionate and has gone above and beyond when I had a crisis. Just an amazing Doctor. I am grateful to have him as my family physician. Nancy and the other staff are very friendly, they are just incredibly busy! Kudos to the support staff!

Dr Haines is great. The office however is really lacking. I can never get someone to pick up the phone. I have to call multiple times in a row or multiple times throughout the day. Appointments can be up to a month or two sometimes even for a baby visit.

Receptionist (Nancy) should not be working in a doctors office. She is not compassionate, empathetic, or know how to talk to people kindly. She is not helpful for making appointments, returning calls, or informing of the doctor/NP schedule or when they will return when away. She is dry and should learn how to empathize with people sometimes rather than brush them off. Honestly, makes me want to switch doctors and I avoid calling to make appointments because of this.

I wish there were more like him. Dr.dickson
has been my GP since he opened his practice in 1990/91 I think? And as well for my immediate family.
Unfortunately I and my Father are his only two patients left from my immediate family.
Dr. Dickson has been and still is an amazing Dr.
He has always been there to listen and to explain things that are very understandable and comprehendible.
He has often gone to the absolute length that a GP can possibly go for a patient and further as to point patients in the right directions.
He has a vast knowledge of medications and will do his best to try whatever he can to find, prescribe, and tweak medications to fit a patients needs, situation, and preferences.
From a patience prospective, Dr. Dickson is well rounded in everything he has done and is doing for me. A ton of common sense, practicality, and straightforward.
He is also kind, friendly, completely on board if you want to get healthy and better yourself.
He is compassionate, encouraging, empathetic, and cares massive amounts for his patients.

Worst doctor ever!!! Abusive to our entire family. Nurses and reception extremely rude, unhelpful and will not be accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel unwanted, uncomfortable and not respected what so ever. They truly don’t care about their patients.

Our entire family has had to quit Dixons practice due to abusive treatment not by one but every family member over the years.

We will be reporting him and his nurses to their respective colleges. The nurses and the doctor should have their license revoked immediately before any more harm is done to his patients.
