I recently visited this walk-in clinic to get my 15-month-old child vaccinated, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The doctor did not conduct any basic health assessment before administering the vaccine—no temperature check, no questions about allergies, previous reactions, or any medical history. There was no explanation of the vaccine, its purpose, or possible side effects. The entire process felt rushed and unprofessional.

This lack of care and attention is unacceptable, especially when dealing with young children.

I do not feel confident about the quality of care provided at this clinic and would not recommend it to other parents. A vaccination appointment should be handled with proper medical oversight and professionalism, which was completely lacking here.

1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience

I visited this walk-in clinic for the first time on December 14, 2024 around 10am, and was thoroughly unimpressed with the doctor's bedside manner. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, but the doctor's behavior was a different story altogether.

When I explained my symptoms and what usually helps me, the doctor seemed dismissive and uninterested. He cut me off mid-sentence, barely allowing me to finish my thoughts. His response was abrupt and unhelpful, simply stating that antibiotics wouldn't work because I had a virus. When I tried to explain further, he told me that he would prescribe antibiotics but they wouldn't make a difference.

I felt disrespected and unheard throughout the entire experience. As a patient, it's essential to feel like your concerns are being taken seriously and that your doctor is listening to you. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

Needless to say, I won't be returning to this clinic again. If you're looking for a doctor who will actually listen to you and take your concerns seriously, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. The current state of our medical support in Simcoe county is so desperate that moms like myself are forced to use inferior services such as this doctor and his clinic. Because we have no other options.
This doctor is the worst of the worst. I’ve had several incredibly poor experiences with him. But the last one wqs so beyond unacceptable I will be officially reporting him to the board.
He has 2-3 hour waits. You cannot get in to see him by appointment ever. No one answers the phone. He refuses to discuss results. Even positive ones without making another appointment and waiting multiple hours a second time.
He has a massive attitude and ego. He doesn’t listen. He is self righteous. Pompous. Dismissive. Arrogant. Rude. He doesn’t make eye contact. Allows staff to walk in during a personal and privacy protected appointment. He rushes every one.
My last visit he was so negligent it couldn’t caused serious ramifications for my child. My daughter presented with a serious rash, bruising. And a severe abbcess. He refused to listen to the history. Told me symptoms weren’t related. He did zero blood work. And didn’t even swab the abbcess. When I pushed back he screamed at me at the top of his lungs. Chastised me. And told me to stop speaking.
Turns out my daughter has a very serious health issue. As well as a MRSA infection that ended up spreading through our family. It could have been life altering. Sick kids was shocked this doctor didn’t follow basic protocol to treat her.
He is beyond bad. Negligent. And a true jerk. I would travel to Manitoba before I risked putting my family under his care again.
He also wear cologne thats so strong you need to change your clothes after. Which is totally unprofessional in a medical environement where many people have sensitivities.

Shame on this doctor.

I’m only giving two stars because the reception was kind and considerate. However, the doctor here is pretty awful. Didn’t even look at my child just whips out his prescription pad and starts writing the prescription to get us out of there not even examining her or checking her breathing or anything, barely even look directly at her. This is why we have an over use of antibiotics problem because of doctors like this don’t go here

First visit to this walk in ~ it was seamless ~ the receptionists were both great! Arrived at 5:05, swabbed for strep, quick time with the doctor, strep confirmed, prescription filled on site, out by 5:40. All of this on a Friday of the long weekend. Thank you BBWIC

Worst Walk-in-Clinic ever. They are always behind schedule, never call you back with your results, and don’t honour appointment times. They will also say one thing and do another. One of the ladies at the front is very rude. I won’t be coming back here ever again. Very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time here. Not worth the long lineups and wait times.

I went there and asked front girl how many minutes do I need to wait.. she said 40 minutes... after 1 hour wait I asked her again... can you tell me how many minutes.. she said maybe 40 minutes.... 7 people ahead of you... i said 1 hour ago u said 40 min.. and now you say the same....
They have no respect people times...i will never go that place....

Such a great group! Dr Henry is so wonderful. Both my kids really like him and feel that he gives them the time to talk to him about their concerns. The level of efficiency (and yet warmth) is impressive! Highly recommend!
