So I wanted to commend Kim Dancy today on her professionalism and compassion. After not doing studies for six months because another staff member had treated me really rudely and unprofessionally, and made me think I was excluded from all studies, today I reached out again and Kim returned my email within minutes. I was not excluded from studies after all, and Kim was kind, courteous, and in short, treated me like an actual human being. Right away she got me booked for a study that works perfectly with my schedule. Thanks for being a genuinely decent person.

The regulars at this study location manipulate their answers so that they always pass the qualification period and new people fail. When I got kicked out at the end of the qualification, several of the older regulars that do studies for a living were laughing at me and saying derogatory words at me even saying "I want to see the light fade from his eyes." This place needs to take steps to prevent experienced study-goers from abusing the system, manipulating the data, and creating an environment which is hostile to women and new people.

I had my first study at BioPharma, which was a very good experience. I want to congratulate their great staff of hardworking team members. They were always taking care of me and making sure I was alright. I felt safe by being surrounded by this wonderful and caring staff. Especially Raymond, Olga, Volha, Simona, Randy, Thao, Jean, Mary, Emerson, Mohammed, Patrick and Joy.
Thank you all very much for your hard work, I will certainly return here.
My only recommendation is to improve a little bit the food options hahaha.

Kim was very clear with the explanation and information regarding the study I am about to participate in. It is my first time doing this so I had a few questions. Her answer to all of my questions left me at ease, (a little bit). She promised to send an email regarding the details of the study and it was sent within minutes. This is less a review of BioPharma as a whole as I believe their sleeping arrangements are abhorrent and quite similar to a Thai prison. HOWEVER, most of the staff are so incredibly lovely, kind and helpful. I’ve also had the pleasure of speaking with a recruiter by the name of Kim Dancy a couple of times and have never received such incredible service over the phone in my life. She’s truly a pleasure to speak with and gives the impression that she cares about her clients and is having a great day. I wish this company made more of an effort to prioritize their volunteers time by ensuring time management practices are followed. Last time I was there I stayed 2 hours after my expected exit because they were running behind scheduled and made me wait for a pregnancy test when I would have received my compensation regardless. All in all I would recommend, but there are points for improvement.

This is the second time I have dealt with BioPharma this year, and the second time there has been a miscommunication. Today, I had an appointment to get screened so I could take part in a medical trial. I took note of the address, how to get there and when I had to be there. I arrived late because my bus was slow. When I made it to the counter, the secretary had no clue what I was doing there. Apparently, in the email I was given, they gave me the address for the SECOND appointment first, While I was supposedly meant to go to their North York location for the first screening. At this point, I was half an hour late, in a city I was unfamiliar with, unsure of how to continue. Their only solution was to have me come back the next day and get screened in the morning. If this company cannot get their dates and locations correct, I have a hard time believing they are capable of testing any form of drug on a human being. Very unprofessional, terrible communication skills.

I went for a clinical trial and didn't pass cause I ate something with poppy seeds which was my fault to begin with. When I called them back to setup a different trial I was then told i need a doctors note but why would i even get to come to a pre screening if I needed one. Then when I produced a doctors note stating I was off my medication for over 3 months and was given the go from my doctor to get into clinical trials I got a voice mail stating now I can't do anymore trials when they said a doctors note would unlock it and it was going to be fine to get into other Studies. Very disorganized with the staff and getting a different answer When I call. If I needed anything they should have told me before I drove over a hour and a half there.
