I registered for a study of Osteoarthritis of the knees due to being young and having this debilitating condition
Figured It may help someone sometime in the future or offer me some hope that there are scientist working in a way to manage this disease without the use of opiates or medications.

My appointment was at 9am I arrived 10 min prior as always. Was greeted by the reception staff who were very friendly.

However after waiting for 15min I decided to let the reception know I would be leaving due to the ignorance in my opinion of the medical team looking after this study.

I am not sure how some people believe their time is more important than others. Especially when they are taking their time to come provide their body and experiences to help others.

I was told during the intake interview I would be compensated for participating.
Perhaps here lies the issue? Big difference between intrinsically motivated people with a goal to help others and extrinsically motivated people who participate in things for a reward in this case payment.

Perhaps this is why medical professionals ( I use the professionals synonym lightly in this case) Feel
some sense of entitlement that everyone works on their time and agenda.

A true professional would have excused their client if this was the case came out and greeted the client waiting, and let them know they are running behind x number of minutes and apologized for the delay. Wow that would really let people know you care about them! since your business requires real people to study.

If your organization ever needs a professional to come in and speak about leadership or how to make friends and influence people let me know, and of course I will not even charge you a fee because I make sure to let people know they Matter!

People are very nice and thorough blood work is painless they are right on time for appointments never do you wait
Just wanted to update on how incredible the people are here. Maria is the best counselor to deal with and Hailie is by far the best at taking blood. it is always completely painless!

I have recently participated in one of the trials offered by Bluewater. I was active in this trial until completion 10 months later. The staff at the research clinic were always helpful and available whenever I needed them or they required something from me. I would gladly take part in another study that would not only benefit myself, but benefit those with the same needs as myself.

My appointment was for 9:20 in the morning and my blood was drawn at 9:50. The phlebotomist drawing my blood took a bit to find a vein poking around for about 15 to 20 seconds. This wouldn't be my 1st choice to have blood taken in the area based on this visit.

All of the staff are very kind and helpful. I've been involved in many studies and have always been treated wonderfully. I definitely recommend you see if you qualify for any studies that are currently in the works.
