Owen Sound Hospital is an excellent hospital with caring doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers.

It is an excellent place to attend for your medical needs.

It has sufficient parking and wheelchair parking and is wheelchair accessible.

It also has a well staffed ER.

I'm a visitor to Canada.
The service I received is simply pathetic & horrible.
My home country is 1000% better than here when it comes to Medical services, emergency, first-aid, etc..
9pm is when I entered the hospital building with a basic, simple, regular issue which I usually get and I know how to fix it but today it was a bit different and that's why I actually chose to consult a doctor.
Since 9pm, I was waiting until 11:30pm to actually get in a room. I was in an emergency apparently.
The nurse arrived and did what she had to do just like a robot. No empathy, no talks. Looked more like a machine than like a human. Then, the doctor arrived and scared the hell out of me by saying all non-sense. Must say - They are trained to create that panic atmosphere and partially kill even a lively patient.
Anyway, he tried his best but eventually failed as I know my body better myself.
After that, I Got my IV started and then there it goes, nobody turned over to my room ever after that until the next morning. My room attender checked multiple times for anyone to at least come and check if the IV is working normally or needs some attention and stuff. No luck.. I'm glad I went alive and I returned alive too, coz usually it's different. Anyway. Takecare u all and please never come visit this hospital. It takes u forever !

My emergency room experience was very good. The nurses were very kind and professional. The Doctor was also very knowledgeable and explained everything that was happening. He had a very nice bedside manner

I got my nasal coblation surgery done today at Owen sound hospital. Incredibly friendly and kind staff. A special shout out to Kelly, Ashley and Amanda ( nurses). Also the surgery staff was fantastic. Very polite. And lastly and important shout out to Dr. Emille Roux for being a kind and incredible surgeon. Thank you all - Mangesh. And a special thanks to the kind volunteers. Your efforts are appreciated.

The Nurse I had was showing racism towards aboriginal decent. It has happened to me which rarely happens because i am lighter skin. I would recommend having someone (witness) with you when getting care at Owen Sound Hospital.

The most amazing place with amazing staff!! Maryanne on 5 in Oncology is the most amazing nurse you could ever have. She made us every week feel incredibly comfortable and it's people like her that make hard time less hard. This hospital saved my mom's life and I am forever grateful, I am forever thankful. The whole team, from the labs right to the doctor's and nurses are such a wonderful team!! The cancer care team is the best, thank you for all your hard work. Not only do they care for the patient, but they care for the family too.

I can’t even begin to explain how horrible this place is and I’ve lived here almost my entire life. Every time I go, the staff is less than helpful, they gossip about you where you can hear them, they’re extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and quick to call CAS for anything on completely innocent families. I had a therapeutic time in literally every other hospital I’ve been to. The pediatricians here all barely even have 4 star reviews themselves alone, and are incredibly inexperienced, frequently needing to contact London for medical opinions. This hospital is complete trash, and I’d rather die than ever put my life in their hands again. Document EVERYTHING and ALWAYS get a second opinion if something feels off.
