It was sort of dirty and I felt like I was going to get stabbed but I got the help I needed for my disability and eventually I was approved thanks to the medical workers at the Sandy Clinic and I am in a better place now thanks to them.

Front desk never answers the phone and when they do they’re usually disrespectful. On hold for over 20+ minutes, Hung up on and then just couldn’t get through. Can’t blame people for missing appointments when they don’t have the opportunity to reschedule.

I have been coming here for years, as a patient with the Oasis Clinic as well as a client with the supervised injection site. The service I've received has always been phenomenal and the staff are outstanding, professional, courteous, and compassionate.

If you are an Ottawa resident struggling with substance use, this is the place to go.

I have to say I was disgusted with how unprofessional the receptionist is now at the sandy hill community center! When I first came to Ottawa in 2003 this place was amazing for helping people who were down and out. I was expecting the same type of professionalism but was sadly met with an ignorant receptionist who answered by saying yeah how can I help you followed by a very audible sigh! Then while trying to get some info from this person I was having a hard time understanding her due her using slang and having an accent. I'm usually fairly good with accents but throw in slang and the person just not wanting to do their job it made for a pointless call. My odsp worker sent me to the sandy hill community center for help and unfortunately I wasn't able to get the help I need. It's sad how so many once great resources have devolved into unhelpful wastes of tax payers money!

The staff here is absolutely amazing.
I have had two covid tests done at this location as I live nearby and the staff is always so pleasant and friendly! Its a tricky part of town and they all act with professionalism, patience and positive vibes.
Funny to say, but always a pleasure 🙂
Thank you for working so hard and keeping the community healthy.
They treat everyone with kindness and respect.
They all deserve a huge thank you!
