I had been buying caviar at the Martin Ross Costal Bay location for years.
In December, I purchased 3kg of red caviar (1kg per pack), and one of the packs turned out to be poor quality. I called the store to complain but was told that, because they operate as a wholesale business, nothing could be done.

A week ago, my wife bought another 3kg (0.5kg per pack), and the third container we opened was the worst quality I've ever tried — discolored, sticky, and with an awful taste.

I'm not going there ever again and won't bother calling to complain.
Instead, I'm looking into submitting a complaint and food sample to York Region Public Health for inspection.

It’s ridiculous that you advertise your products on social media but refuse to answer basic questions, instead directing customers to call a phone number. Then, when I call to ask about pricing, I’m accused of researching for competitors. This is just bad customer service— and those 1 star reviews below are spot on.

I’ve been getting red caviar, black caviar, smoked salmon, shrimp and scallops from CB for 6 years. First of all, the quality of the product is superb and second of all, buying directly from the company saves me about 20-30% on the price. It is always fresh, I like that they only use ethical suppliers and that everything is licensed and inspected. I will continue buying from them for as long as they are around, at least that’s what I plan to do 🙂 I buy $100-400 worth of product at a time and it keeps well in the fridge. Working hours depend on the season. Better call before you go to make sure they are open.

I had a terrible experience with the person working in Toronto office and product. He advertised one price and charged me a higher price for Pink Salmon Caviar. After complaining about his action, he told me that they can change product price anytime and I am not going to get my money back.
This is unacceptable behavior, not honest and very rude.

Product quality is very bad. They are very dishonest people, verbally abusive. Customer service same as in Russia. They are doing cash business and overcharging clients, advertising one price and overcharging another price. Confirm the price, before you go, or My recommendation, never buy any product from them.
