Ridiculous management. If you have more than 1 issue , even if related to each other you need to have 2 appointments. Only 1 issue per visit. So kneck and back serious problems means 2 visits and wait for 2 mri appointments rather than 1 mri request to do it. Guess getting paid for 2 visits is more important than patient care.well wish there was less than 1 star. Went to apply to get a copy of my medical records. Which by alberta law is my right. I see a couple specialized doctors that are not registered in ab. So need my files with me. One of the 2 doctors that runs the clinic said no. They need to have a board level meeting to decide if I can have my file. The staff were great at trying to help but their hands are tied by an arrogant power tripping doctor that cares more about money numbers than anything. Great doctors and staff stuck dealing with a pompous ass in charge. Next step is minister of health and media.

There are a lot of complaints, but they were super nice to me on the phone. I can't speak to the walk-in clinic comments, but I managed to secure an appointment for 2 weeks from now without issue.

Would have been great to get in sooner, but having come from Edmonton where I searched 3 years for a doctor and (still) couldn't find one, I'm kinda happy just to have been given a chance to see someone.

There is clearly a serious crisis with our medical system when Canadian citizens are turned away, or made to jump through silly hoops in order to get basic medical assistance. The fact that any person living in edson, who does not have a "family doctor", will be denied basic medical attention, or having the opportunity to have important documents filled out in order to maintain a healthy life, is absolutely atrocious. This whole Rubbermaid tote with numbered clipboards being tossed at a crowd of 20-30+ people every day is also a complete joke, and very embarrassing to have to participate in. What kind of a dystopian-future like kind of system is this? More importantly, how can the community come together to petition this kind of stuff? I'd give this whole thing 0 stars if I could. What an absolute joke.

So I called for my husband on Tuesday to make a appt for his license and he went to the walk in clinic and told him it was closed on Friday. Who ever I talked to at the front desk should be more up to date on the times you are telling me. It is so frustrating when a person works different hours maybe you should have your walk in clinic open on Fridays. I am not please with the service the edson medical clinic has and we have a family doctor and there told me he was booked till end of October. How does a person even get a appt with there family doctor.

I have never had a problem with them always polite and caring the doctors or my doctor go above and beyond to get to the root of the problem ,I would recommend this clinic to anyone ,keep it up to all the staff and doctors you run an amazing clinic .. Thank you for always being so sufficient and caring

I'd give it zero stars if I could, I've been unable to get in to see my family doctor (or any doctor whatsoever), told to go to the walk-in clinic which would be fine if it was actually open. But you can't just walk in to the walk-in clinic apparently because it gets full and you can't even get served. I have a UTI and cannot get treatment because of this sham of a system.

I've had good and bad experiences at this location but the professionals here always try their very best to be as helpful, informative and considerate with any medical issues that you might have.

I spoke to Amanda earlier with some of my concerns and she went out of her way to be accommodating as possible. Getting medical help can be daunting but certainly helps to have friendly, compassionate ear to voice your concerns.

Very efficient and they has some really great doctors. One doctor that I would like to commemorate in this review is Dr Knight. No one word can really explain Dr Knight but she is a very compassionate, friendly, easygoing and knowledgeable doctor and I am very thankful for her services as a GP in our town. Thank you Edson Medical Centre for all of your services.
