I was there some years ago and they had completely useless social workers psychologists whatever all reductionist completely useless people. They had no cliche common sense not much life experience not much training in other areas that are far more effective in managing health problems in addition to many other life problems. It is as if they were reading from a university textbook written by a Marxist leninist feminist professor which most of them are anyway! Don't bother even having a family just stay single because there's no help coming! The whole system is designed to drain and eradicate the producers in society and in virtually all cases that is men who put the real work not just in offices. Only trust the positive reviews from any organization with a very large grain of salt but take the negative reviews much more seriously because these are usually more correct than the positive ones. Beware of inconsistent services. Be prepared to advocate for yourself. Counsellors are inconsistent in quality and efficacy. The agency has it's own agenda and the client is not the top priority. Services are cut with little notice. I was put in danger , during a session, by a social worker who was not merely bias in her approach and very judgemental, but did not have the proper tools, or training to deal with the situation in a safe , nor efficacious manner. When I brought the matter up to the managers attention. , the complaint was minimized . There are way too many politically divergent and conflicting interests in the office. Help is not provided , as it should be. The mandate to strengthen families is false . I would be very wary of getting counselling at this agency. Eventhough, some counsellors are good, there are far too many managerial restrictions put on therapies offered. You are basically a pawn, in this office.

I myself have either needed someone to ball my eyes out to or to help me with my taxes... I highly recommend this welcoming facility to anyone who is in need of help... Amazing people that allow you to feel comfortable to sob the whole time your there.

Family services provides outstanding community services. They offer drop-in counselling, no appointment necessary for those in need, great when you have a crisis. The receptionist is always smiling and kind.
