Life Savers!!! I switched from Ultramar after 4 online requests and 3 phone calls spanning a month with no resolution and I was under 1/4 tank as a rural customer (over 10 years and never missed a payment) in the middle of winter with a cold snap on the way.

Irving took a day just to get back to me on all of their off-route extra fees and paperwork. Still no oil.

Gateway Fuels was 1 phone call, an instant booking and 2 days later I had furnace oil.

I don't know about you, but I don't live in a perfectly predictable world. Rural or not, a window breaks, a new arrival to the home, you take up growing orchids or whatever reason you might need more heating oil, Ultramar, Irving and these big companies will let you down. No one you can reach who can help, plenty of promises to call you back and all the tickets you want to open though.

Do yourself a favor and go with Gateway. That phone number gets you to a person who can actually help. You're no longer at the mercy of some AI that can't compute your needs, so assumes you're mistaken and ignores you.

Gateway is a local business with real human beings who make promises they keep.

We just moved in our new house, from Ontario and our tank was empty. I called Gateway Fuels and within not even an hour they were at our house! Very friendly service! My husband looked from a distance since we have to quarantine while they filled the tank, they left the bill in the mailbox, I called the office and paid with credit! So satisfied with their service! 👍
