Went in search of some wire for a solar project. Was recommended to go here by Duke Electric so I figured they gotta be good. Was greeted by the first staff member and was asked to wait a moment for the other staff to help me at the desk. She came out and greeted me and asked me what I needed. I asked if they had 2 or 4 gauge connectors and wires for batteries. She immediately advised me that she had the wire in stock, but not the actual connections to the terminals. She recommended I go to Carquest down the street as they sell lots of auto parts and may have the connectors. I returned with the connectors I got from her recommendation and asked her for 0 gauge wire. She informed me that the technical term for what I was looking for was 1/0 (one-naught). Very informative. Unfortunately, they were out of stock on the wire. I did not know this business existed but not for the recommendation from Duke Electric. Will be keeping this business on the contact list.
