Sinister place! My father was admitted there 12 yrs ago. They told me not to bother visiting they would turn me around. After telling them at harborside my father has no family in NS shes from nb I went to check up on him. I was met with rcmp whom serv4d me a protection of private property order... they then had the govt issue an adult protection order and filed for my father's 52,000 in back worms comp money due on his 65th bday. The next day*12 hrs later their company shrink seems him unfit and refused my next of kin letter and name themselves the sole decisionmakers. I went to court from st stephen nb to yarmouth 7 times.. the judge ordered that speed up William Ronald Booths transfer to nb. They refused the judges orders to transfer his files to new Brunswick..and the adult protection order from province of ns was dropped. Harbourside lodge screened my father's calls, openly made him say he didn't want to leave after yes of him saying"they will never let me leave" I had a news report check into the fact the judge in the case said that 5 other people that yr had harborside serve them papers to keep them away from their families.. noone leaves Harborside alive it seems and when I tried to visit on a sat during visiting hrs not a single car was in the lot... there going more to these vets than just restriction of outside contact... I believe there's a reason why they're keeping people prisoner..everyone who ends up there seems to have no family and when family turns up they're in court to get them out... yet the patient mysteriously die before transporting to another home. My father was taken to a town of 6000 to have an operation and according to them is in a coma dying. Why did they drive 3 1/2 hrs when Halifax was just as close.. and why if he was with 104 fever dis they drive him to yarmouth hospital... Kristoffer Booth, St Stephen Nb
