I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The staff here are overworked but honestly try their best, and that’s all that can be asked of the people working here when the health system is struggling to find employees and funding. The emergency department runs well and we have had to use it a couple times for our kids. They are so good with kids and we don’t have to wait very long compared to what you hear about hospitals in major towns. They have very competent doctors so feel safe coming here.

I have lived in Stratford for just over 2 years and have had surgery there as well as accessing emergency services for myself and a grandchild. All interactions have been above and beyond any other hospital I have used. My surgeon was the epitome of knowledge and compassion. Cheerful volunteers add to an already positive experience. Thank you so much.

A really nice hospital and ER care. However, if you are 55 or older and need xrays, they no longer give you a lead apron to protect your other organs from cummulative ionizing radiation damage ( you have to ASK for it) AND to be thorough, instead of just 2-3 views they will max it out at 5 (each view is billable). After the doc told me just take acetaminophen and ibuprofen for pain, they just walked out of the room and left me there sitting in wheel chair to find my own way back to the entrance, while a group of staff were absorbed with a puppy someone brought into show off. (Hygiene issue?) But overall quick care and nice staff.

I was disappointed with how I was treated today. I made an error when I got the call about my CT appointment. I was in the central time zone at the time so I incorrectly put it in and so I was off by 1 hour for my appointment. No big deal. My mistake and I did not expect anybody to alter their busy day due to my mistake. I just never like when I’m not treated very well. The office person I dealt with was not very pleasant. Just wanted you to know.

Had a colonoscopy today at Clinton Hospital. What an excellent experience. From admitting to prepping to the procedure and also the volunteer Peter. Thank you! My partner who accompanied me also commented on the efficiency and professionalism. Thanks to Dr. McCune for another job well done.

I've visited the Stratford General Hospital 3 times in the past year. The nurses, techs, porters and doctors have been compassionate. I really appreciate the people working at Stratford General. Thank you.

Checked in at 7am and was released by 11am...superbly professional personnel @ SGH. From the check in, to providing "samples", Jenny (nurse) was terrific and can't say enough good things about Dr. Braun - he was excellent! Thank you for looking after me Stratford General.

They didn’t do anything to help my girlfriend while she was having a seizure and said there was nothing wrong with her and now she’s dead from the seizures. I wouldn’t even give a star but I have no choice.
