We’ve used this clinic on a few occasions and have always received great care for our child. All of the nurses and doctors we’ve had have been patient, friendly and go above and beyond when caring for a little human. As for the people who are frustrated by the booking system; we’ve always gotten a spot when we register right at 6am like they suggest.

Best choice to go there with my child. Starting by the receptionist who is really kind and efficient. After the nurse was amazing. She tried to do some fun stuff to let her do it what she needs to do. Finally Dr Ozon is more to an amazing! He did all the tests, gave us great advices and instructions. Also , he gave us a peace of mind because of his great work. Really, best experience.

Booked an appointment in the portal right at 6am for the same day for a 9:10am slot. The receptionist got me checked right in, and was seen by the doctor within 20-30 minutes and left with a prescription same-day. I was there for just under an hour total. Everyone I interacted with, from the funny receptionist, kind nurse, lovely doctor and efficient pharmacists were seriously amazing. They work such a thankless job but they should be recognized for how much they help us. Thank you so much! 🥰

The Huronia Urgent Care Clinic is amazing! Everyone in our family has visited for serious illnesses and injuries over the past year or so. The support staff and doctors are efficient, kind and caring and have always provided great follow up--most recently from Dr. Kargel. The ability to book and appointment or walk in has saved us from long wait times in the Emergency Department and ensures that ED resources are used for emergencies. We are fortunate to have the Clinic and their dedicated staff in Barrie.

I wish I could give zero stars. I visited the clinic about a week and an half ago and was clearly very sick. My throat was like razor blades so I assumed strep. As much as they ask you to tell them why you are there, be careful. As soon as I said I assumed strep, the nurse abruptly said ‘we havent seen strep this year at all’… I had a feeling in that moment I would be dismissed. They did a strep test, it was negative and the doctor came in saying the exact thing ‘we haven’t seen strep’ He looked at my throat, acknowledged that clearly something was wrong but dismissed as viral and sent me home. 10 days I went feeling like I must be exaggerating my symptoms because it’s only viral. My husband forced me back to another clinic (not in Barrie) because I was very quickly getting worse. Thank goodness I did. It was tonsillitis, left untreated turned into a severe chest infection and fluid in both ears leaving me with at least 50-60% hearing loss. Do yourself a favour and don’t go there. They only dismiss if they can’t figure it out. As much as the doctor kept saying how much experience he had, and strep doesn’t look like that, but could clearly see white all around my throat… couldn’t identify tonsillitis and both him and the nurse totally dismissed me because ‘they haven’t seen strep’. Absolutely horrendous experience.

Huronia urgent clinc was great look at my exray made appointment at fracture clinc and help me with a boot cast. Waiting time was long but understandable because it was a Saturday and couldn't book appointment.
Even with waiting time I appreciate the help.i think more urgent cares needed in smaller communities and maybe the hospital wait times would lessen. Great staff and hospital care staff.

Took my daughter to this Clinic due to an unexpected eye injury. Wait-time was minimal, thanks to reception advising us to come prior to scheduled appointments. The worse walk in clinic I ever had to deal with. Terrible customer facing staff working as reception. I have no words on how rude and aggressive the 2 receptionists were. One maybe caucasian female who said she’s the manager and the other maybe West Indian not only turned down my 3 year old who was suffering from a throat and ear infection, called my case non urgent. but also used foul language and I practically felt kicked out of the clinic. Never going there again!
