My name is Meghan Stamp and I do not recommend this place if you want what is best for your child you WILL NOT banish your child to live there. I lived there for maybe close to 3 years and honestly if there was somewhere else for me to go then I would have went somewhere else. Lakeside Terrace Supportive Living is infested with bedbugs to the point where I was waking up multiple times throughout the nights because I was getting bitten by bedbugs and I would be literally getting eaten alive by them to the point where I was itching my skin raw because of how badly they were biting me. That place would try to get Pest Control to take care of the situation but the problem seemed to be getting worse and worse. Also the food there sucked it was always the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the portion sizes were tiny so it felt like they were making the residents there starve. Also the staff at Lakeside Terrace Supportive Living minus a woman there named Cyndy Lamb treat the residents like we all were retarded or something because it seemed to only be Cyndy Lamb that would talk to us residents like our thoughts and opinions mattered the other staff members there would be very rude and disrespectful to us. So Lakeside Terrace only gets 1 star because I had to click the one star just to be able to write this review when really I want to give it a 0.5 star out of 5 stars heck I don't even think that business deserves a 0.5 star rating. But anyways I hope people take what I have to say into account because I've actually lived there personally and tbh it's absolutely disgusting.

This is an unregulated rooming house. Don't be fooled by the professional looking website or the positive comments from staff. That is just window dressing. Behind closed doors there are bed bugs, mould and low-level food. I have been asking for change since I found out my brother lives there. Most discussions have led to many accusations and threats of eviction. It seems my recent complaints on social media have led to the owner and management staff at supportiveliving.ca to retaliate by cutting off the Wi-Fi to all of the residents. They are now further isolated from the outside world and unable to have a voice. A horrible place to live. RUN!

Honestly if I could give this 0 stars I would. You have your residents living in squalor. Bed bug investigation that you said you handled? Handled really well eh? I'll be going to the media

My wife and I moved in and it was a nice enough place with a latch on the inside of our door for privacy because the doors don't have looks. The staff said it had to be removed and have walked into our room without even knocking on the door.
We pay $2200.00 a month for no cable for the TV in our room. Low protein and high carbs for food.
Theft from our room and the staff yelling at other residents who aquse them of steeling makes this place a negative 3 on a scale of one to ten

Beware of any 5 star ratings you see here. They are from staff and friends of the owner. They are taking advantage of residents with low income and disabilities. The food is minimal and poor quality. They are unwilling to deal with the ongoing problems with pest control and take offense and punish residents when anyone pushes for change. Shameful.

They also need to get rid of old furniture. For the price residents pay. The residents all pay different prices and the website says that it is a base pat for everyone. They deserve a clean well maintained environment, but they don't have it.
