I only leanred of Lee Valley a few month ago when i went in with someone.

I googled a specialty glue/paste for a project and Lee Valley had it.

I thought i was blind as i walked around the store two times, browsing and looking at all the interesting items.

After speaking to staff, whi politely checked the floor, the item was not there. It was quickly retrieved from the back.

Staff was friendly. Service was quick.

The only thing i thought was odd was the old paper checkout method before enteringinto the computer. I didn't creating a store profile (completely optional) as i expect to be a returning customer.

This store has a lot of creative interesting and useful items. Love shopping here.

FYI - Lee Valley holds interesting workshops! I have signed up for one!

I received excellent service at Lee Valley Tools.As soon as I walked in a gentleman asked us if we needed any help.I mentioned to him that I was on their website and he found what we were looking for.They have a very large selection of garden tools and I highly recommend to shop at this location.

This store has a lot of creative interesting and useful items. Love shopping here. Employees are always helpful and friendly. Only complaint is the checkout process... cashiers have to write the order on paper, then process it on the computer. It's archaic, not efficient, and a waste of paper.

Unquestionably FIVE STARS! I visited their Windsor store this past Saturday - drove across the bridge. AMAZING and HUGE woodworking store and the staff said it was one of their "smaller" stores. There is no Woodworking store in SE Michigan that has the kind of floor space and displays this store has. I Purchased their Shooting Board.

Paul was the sales person who worked with me and he was so helpful and friendly. I have been in all the woodworking stores in SE Michigan and this store by far has the best most friendly staff of all of them - and product knowledge - with the exception of one on my side other side of the border.

The way the store is laid out is incredible - fine hand tools are displayed with the kind of reverence they deserve. I particularly liked the huge display of antique hand planes right at the front door - a giant large display wall! I could go on and on - I encourage all Americans engaged in woodworking to visit their stores - and say hi to our Canadian friends. Even if you don't intend to buy anything visiting this store is like visiting a woodworking museum - it's truly a destination trip!

After spending quite a bit of money at Lee Valley (minimum 10k) I was going to order a router lift. I asked if it was possible to get a deal on the inserts as they dont come with the product. The way they blew me off was very inconsiderate. They were in no way nice about. Long story short, I ordered the router lift from Federated Tool in London and received free shipping. Will dealing a lot more with Federated tool and a lot less with Lee Valley.

I was thrilled to find a made-in-Italy automatic sewing needle threader here. My preference is to purchase items made in democratize states when reasonably possible.

Quick shipping to the United States (possibly they have a shipping location within the U.S.).

I love the option to add specialty catalogs to the checkout cart. I added a couple of catalogs, including the one titled LED Indoor Tape Lighting, and now I’m looking forward to trying some lighting projects.
