Despite having a previous positive experience, I now have to update my review of this clinic. Despite calling ahead of time to ensure they could fullfil a blood requisition, and being told they could, when I showed up today to do so, they told me they couldn't. Thanks for wasting my time Locke Medical! I really appreciate that. Maybe you should train your staff to know what they can and cannot do.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Middlebrook!! The care she took with my medical situation, I am truly so appreciative! She brought my boyfriend in the room to make sure he also understood the severity of the situation and what I needed to do for my recovery so he was also aware to help me. I was told to call the office today but she didn't realize the office was closed due to Family Day holiday on Monday, so she called me to get an update on how I was doing. I haven't had this type of care from a doctor in a long time! Truly so appreciative and thankful of her kindness and care!

Excellent experience at this clinic! The team, including the doctors, nurse, and the receptionist are very professional, kind, and respectful and demonstrated these traits each of the 3 times I have been there.

As for Dr. Benoit? All I can say is that he is wonderful and listens well. I wish I had found him sooner!

I highly recommend this team of professionals.

I would recommend never to go this clinic. Never opens when we are in emergency. Also when they are open it closes so soon like they have to go for marathon. If you want to waste time you should really visit here.

From the front desk staff to Dr. Benoit, I have never have had a better experience at a walk in clinic. They are prompt to answer their phone, get you an appointment the same day, and answer all of your questions. Dr. Benoit is the most amazing doctor I have ever had, he was kind, caring, took his time, asked follow up questions, and always validated how I was feeling and what I needed. All around wonderful experience here.

Dr DeRubeis is Unprofessional. I booked an appointment to check two problems I am suffering from. The appointment was supposed to be in person but I ended up getting a phone call because he is working from home. He talked to me for literally 2 min about the first problem with no in-depth questions this was the worst consultation I have ever had then refused to talk about the second issue which is more important and ended the call! Why are we getting a 1h appointment if all we can get is 2 min! And how can we know what is going on with a patient in 2 min! No wonder why lot of people here died because they were not diagnosed early. Otherwise the nurse is really lovely and professional.

I just wanted to inform this clinic of the disrespectful and insulting treatment I have endured from Dr. Benoit and the accompanying assistant/nurse, Eketrina. Upon our visit with the Eketrina prior to the doctor coming in, we were ill- treated. She was very dismissive and undermined everything we were saying. I told and showed her the issue/lesions I came for and she disregarded everything we said. She did not believe anything I was telling her about the condition and was quick to form an opinion before the doctor even came. Shortly after Dr. Benoit came, she was speaking to him quietly, in a foreign language, with us in the room and also proceeded to falsify our concerns about the issue without giving him a chance to take a look himself or allow him adequate time for form his own medical opinion. As I began speaking with the Doctor to tell him about my concerns, she began talking over me and telling him the same things as before and disregarding my testimony. She was not even letting me finish speaking with the doctor and dismissed the very things I was talking about. I had to stand up for myself and ask her to let me speak. Then she stopped talking over me. I was mortified by this treatment, I felt very uncomfortable as if she is playing against me for some unknown reason.

Now onto Dr. Benoit, after consulting with the assistant, he began to treat us differently. He already had an unpleasant and dubious expression on his face when asking us about our concerns. She primed him and thus he was already questioning everything we were saying to him. Afterwards, they both rebutted all the points we were making about our experience and googling every thing. The images of the lesions, my previous medical history, the conditions we were discussing were all subject to google searches. They were both very underpreapred for the various conditions we were discussing. They did not know what the conditions were. The doctor was looking at me as if I was making my conditions up, and began questioning and undermining the things I was saying about it. It is one thing to question the issue we are coming to the doctor with but to undermine my previously diagnosed health conditions which was diagnosed by my neurologist two years ago and by a cardiologist. I felt awful and invalidated in every way possible. Midway, he rudely gestured me to be quiet while we were discussing these conditions. I never experienced anything like this from a medical professional or from any professional in my entire life. We were not being disrespectful in any way shape or form to warrant such insults and unprofessionalism. He kept invalidating the aforementioned conditions, which were diagnosed by specialists and not general practitioners, and undermined my symptoms I was suffering from and made me feel like it was all in my head by blaming it on anxiety. I just don’t understand this differential treatment of me compared to others. Unless it’s related to racism or some personal bias, I don’t quite understand the hostility I received from them.

I just wanted to make sure they both understand that this is UNACCEPTABLE behaviour from two professionals and that a patient's lived experiences and medical history are not to be undermined in any way. I have lived in my body for 22 years and for a walk in doctor to undermine my symptoms, feelings and conditions diagnosed by multiple specialists was more than I could take. I am still reeling from the unpleasantness and disrespect from yesterday and I do not think I can step foot into this clinic again without some changes being made. Also I did have the *courtesy* to email this to the manager a few months back. Received a with a response and then nothing after that. I did respond twice following up and got nothing in return.

I’ve never left a review for anything before but this place is so mismanaged I feel the need. Used to go to this clinic several years ago, once they made me an appointment for a time the clinic wasn’t even open, NOT my error, I had it written on their card, another time waited for 2 hours before they told me the doctor had an issue and wasn’t going to come in. My spouse decided to give them a try despite my warnings, apparently there is a new family doctor there, waited for 2 hours past his appointment time yesterday then had to leave as he hadn’t planned on being there a full day. They asked if he wanted to reschedule, obviously he said no thanks. Don’t even bother with this place.
