Very cute little cafe , joined to the Otter Creek kitchen. Not all the doughnuts were stocked but we picked up a focacia and two doughnuts.

Tried their donuts, almond cake, chocolate bark sample, canele, and soft serve ice cream.

Their donuts are quite chewy and dense, but the flavour of their fillings are good. Tried their cinnamon sugar, haskap jam, and a feature flavour which was chai and dulce de Leche. Good amount of filling. The feature flavours didn't really compliment each other but the flavour of each filling was good and creamy.

Tried their Kelsie and Chocolicious soft serve. The Kelsie came with vanilla soft serve, haskap berry jam, freeze dried raspberries, whereas the chocoliciois was chocolate soft serve, both with chocolate syrup and chocolate shards. Both soft serve ice cream base were too sweet and lacked flavour, especially the vanilla. The haskap berry jam, while wonderful on its own, overpowers everything else. Overall, there is great potential here, I hope they can improve on the quality of their soft serve.

The almond cake stole the show. It was super light, moist, and melted in your mouth. I love the thin crisp top, almost like a meringue. The cake is similar to dacquoise, a good delicate flavour of almond without any of the weird artificial almond extract flavour. Beautifully done. Highly recommend this cake. Came back to the store just for their almond cake.

The canele had a decent crunchy outside, but the inside should've been lighter. Otherwise, it was a great surprise to find canele here in Kingston.

They sell takeaway frozen pies, drinks, and chocolate goods.

Connected to Otter Creek Kitchen and shares dining space. The whole area could seat about 20 people max. If you cone during a meal time, you may not be lucky to find a seating here.

I have the best donuts ever! 1000% recommended. They even made their own chocolate to put in the donuts, which makes them even better. Also, they have a marvellous customer service

The doughnuts are perfectly risen!
Just the right mix of softness and a little bounce. And fillings are unique and fancy. I especially liked the strawberry cheesecake and lemon meringue. The price is a bit on the higher side, but it’s worth to try.

We got the cinnamon sugar, pb&j and apple cinnamon donuts. They were warm and delicious, although they’re not super fluffy. Not too greasy or sweet either. We’ll definitely be back to try the other flavours!

They also have some freshly baked bread, ready to bake pies, chocolates and tea
for sale. It’s a pretty neat little dessert corner inside the restaurant!

Holy Yum! These go on my top 5 donut list. They have an interesting take on a raised and filled donut. The donut is light and fluffy. No greasy film in your mouth like after a Dunkin. I preferred taking out some of the filling. Awesome donut in an unassuming strip mall location. We did ½ dozen, plain, chocolate and strawberry.

5 stars all the way here as the pastries and doughnuts are unlike any thing else. Simply a gourmet quality shop with great service and a tough selection of choices. Almond cake cookies chocolate stuff croissants ham and cheese croissants. Whatever you decide on here you will not be disappointed. When you are in the Princess St./Bayridge area make sure you slide in here and grab a treat or treats.

Kingston's west end is very lucky to have access to these ever evolving gourmet treats! Everything just keeps getting better and there are always new donut and desert flavours to try as well as softserve in the summer. My favourites are the croissants, brownies and creme brulee which are all top notch. Cruffins are also a home run. Beautiful local small business that is family owned and operated.
