What a great place to find unique items. Boutique shopping in a pharmacy - that's a win in my books. They have WoodWick Candles too! If you know, you know. They smell heavenly AND they sound like crackling fire. SCORE!!! The staff there were also super helpful - I was looking for postcards. Two of the ladies jumped on suggestions and the young gal was quick to jump on her phone to google "what is a postcard?". THAT made my day. So cute.

This is a wonderful local pharmacy with caring staff and pharmacists. I always get a hello when I walk in which is so nice. They have an amazing assortment of items from candles to toys (Melissa and Doug) to kitchen gadgets, slippers, jewelry and of course all your medication needs as well. My favourite Bowmanville store hands down. Thanks to all the staff. They really are special.

Absolutely love this store! It is full of incredible gift ideas and products that you won't find in the big box stores. There's even a section filled with toys, gift wraps and cards for many different occasions. The display window is always so cheerful and inviting. If you want a Pharmacy that literally has it all, then this is the place! McGregor Pharmacy is a must see! It is especially neat on holidays as they tend to offer different items according to the seasons and events (summer time you will find cottage and camping decor, Christmas time you'll find cute holiday decor, Fall time they have autumn decor), so you will never get bored as their stock changes.

Always a pleasure dealing with the staff at McGregor Pharmacy. I've never had a problem with anything. I'm often asked why I still use this pharmacy now that I've moved to Oshawa. They deliver, but... when I do go to the store I love the smalltown feeling of being greeted by name!!! 🙂

Nice store. However Pharmacy team had made me feel very uncomfortable when switching to them from my old pharmacy and inquiring about my meds. They said some weren’t transferred and then when I contacted the old one they said they transferred all of them. McGregors pharmacy staff didn’t inform me that the missing meds were in fact there & it wasn’t until I called that I was told they were. They asked a lot of intrusive questions and when I did go get the last of my meds they were incredibly rude and cold about the issue. Most likely going to change again due to this.

Support your independent pharmacy and local business. I doubt corporate stores would offer this service. I need a prescription this past week and was unable to get to the pharmacy. Mark went out of his way and made sure I received my prescription.

This is a wonderful pharmacy and a real asset for Bowmanville. Both George and Mark will take the time to say hi and provide you with advice on your medication. The support staff is also top notch and their seasonal window treatments are always worth a good look. I would not think of going anywhere else.
