I had the Hydro facial today with Lisa Carr and let me tell you it was over the top AMAZING! I had a lot of questions and she answered every one of them. The hand and arm massage was great as well & face Lymphatic treatment was very relaxing! Cant wait to do this treatment seasonally! I started with Med aesthetics To try the Emsella Chair and quickly got the monthly membership so that I can experience everything they have to offer! I think I found my happy place... You won't be disappointed everyone is super friendly and always Smiling. However, I did forget my chocolate today😳

I recently requested a laser procedure and instead of just taking my money and doing it, Michelle sat with me and explained why it wasn’t the right procedure for my skin and instead advised me against it. Update in response to the manager:

There was no abuse present during our interaction. What occurred was a clear case of miscommunication and confusion. From the outset, your receptionist stated, "We don't talk to husbands," which I found dismissive and unprofessional. I actively requested my husband's involvement because I was confused and struggling to understand the logistics of the booking. I explicitly asked for permission to involve him, as he is the one paying for the procedures and has a right to be informed. After some hesitation, your receptionist reluctantly allowed him to speak.

It’s important to note that under Ontario law, spouses have the legal right to be involved in medical matters and can speak on behalf of their partner when necessary. This is especially relevant when one spouse is handling the financial and logistical aspects of a procedure, as is the case here. At no point was any medical information being discussed—this was purely about scheduling and payment.

When my husband tried to clarify the miscommunication and asked about available dates for the lip injection, he was abruptly put on hold. The manager then intervened, stating that the receptionist no longer felt comfortable continuing the conversation. At no point were there raised voices, loss of temper, or any form of inappropriate language. We were simply trying to resolve a scheduling issue and were met with poor service and unnecessary hostility.

To suggest or imply that there was any form of abuse is not only baseless but also a transparent attempt to deflect from your own shortcomings. Your initial refusal to involve my husband, despite my explicit permission and the legal rights afforded to spouses in Ontario, highlights a lack of professionalism and respect for your clients. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and only reinforces our decision to discontinue our business with you. Your response further underscores why we will advise others to steer clear of your establishment.

My various treatments over the past few years were delivered in a professional yet caring and concerned manner. I had three different estheticians and they were all excellent, often following up the next day to see how I was doing. They gave me excellent information before the various treatments, didn’t try to “sugar coat” a thing and everything they said was true. All went smoothly, no concerns and very pleased with the outcome. Thanks to everyone from the lovely people that answer the phone to the people that do the hands on treatments.
