I have been looking for a great hair stylist in the Niagara Region for quite some time now, and I booked in with Marika and she is absolutely amazing! She blew my hair goals out of the water, and is helping me achieve the happy, healthy, great hair I want! I have recommended her to all my friends! She makes you feel comfortable through the whole appointment! If you’re looking for a hair stylist that will help you achieve your hair goals, she’s your girl! 10/10 recommend!

I went there on 22th September for eyelash extensions. It was great at first , the woman was calm and understanding! I thought she did a great job! But the my eyelash was not great after a few days they were going out of place ! The last time i got extension from india it lasted a great deal and till the end the lashes were on point! They are so weird in just 15 days! I am not sure if that is supposed to happen!

This is the second time I've gone to see Khartool for my mum. My mum has mobility issues and has a hard time transferring. She also has dementia. From booking to paying, our experience was far more superior than I have found anywhere else. As I was late, I put the girl at the front on the spot, with what must have felt like a firing squad of questions and expected instantaneous answers. She booked an appt on the fly, for the next date and time I wanted. Have to admit her friendliness with my direct approach surprised me pleasantly. Then we showed up late, I apologized and they were receptive and understanding. My mum had her hair done and the girl working behind her, and her hairdresser were so positive, kind and funny I couldn't believe just how much my mum lit up talking to them. Her hair was exactly how we requested again, and I was pretty amazed. Usually I've gone to hairdressers and had maybe the first experience good but then not quite so good after that. Her kindness and professionalism was outstanding. My phone died and I had to call a cab, the lady at the front called through, she was patiently waiting even when they played their crappy piano hold music. I have read the bad reviews on here, and I have to say I feel for those who had bad experiences as I've been there too. But in all honesty, I have never had a bad experience here. I do hope that continues, I would say that the cost of getting your hair done now is a sign of the higher cost of living now. But I have also gone to hairdressers that were double the cost that were not as good or accommodating. They even offered us a tea or coffee. How sweet is that. The only other place I was ever offered that was Picasso's. If I could give Khartool ten stars I would.

Today I saw Haley to have my Tragus pierced. Haley was extremely calming and exuded confidence, which made me feel so comfortable and at ease!! The salon/shop was very clean. All needles came out of packaging for me to see everything was sterile. I highly recommend Haley for any of your piercings!! She is a rockstar!!! IMO this piercing was not painful at all 1/10. Probably because the piercer was so amazing 🙂

The all spa services provided by Anna are excellent. She is professional, nice and very kind person. She knows what she is doing. I had my eyebrow waxed by her so many times and she never disappointed me. My eyebrows look fantastic after every visit. 10/10 ?

Exec highlights: 3 generations of lost clients! Great hair-wash girl- decent but rushed hair cut- unexplained or apologetic tardiness for appointment, entitled over- priced lacking in true value.RUDE judgy intolerant reception. The Story: months ago took my 80+ year old mom who preCovid went weekly to a salon for colour, cuts wash and blowouts- she was nervous for her first time back but was looking for a new salon/stylist to have a relationship with- we were a ‘walk in’ and given to ‘Sai’ - great gentle hair wash girl plus decent cut and blow out but expensive for what it was & the time taken. Next: I needed a haircut and blowout for a wedding - made an appointment on the day of the weddIng -reception said he had a colour at 11 but could not see me till 4 (wedding at 6:00 t45 mins away) I agreed & showed up 10 mins early just in case - got washed - great girl again tipped her a $5! Then was asked to sit by Sai’s chair… sat for 40 mins past my appointment time no acknowledgment that i was sitting there with wet hair! No apology. I did not get into it as I was so nervous and stressed about being late for the wedding (sadly I also prepaid with a 20% tip! Approx $180!) Cut was decent but grew out with blocky chunky bits that Im sure with more than the 20 mins we had might had been better! The whole salon was aware that i had to leave at 5! Then i took my daughter to get a consult, cut and colour as her blonde bellage was grown out… he recommended all flat brown and a cut… I paid $250 ish. Decent not great but not bad either. Next: yesterday I had an appointment for 5:30 - I was at the theatre and the production ran late… I ran to the car and drove quickly while RESPECTFULLY calling to inform the salon that I was on my way and would likely be 10-15 mins late (it was actually 10 mins!) The rude receptionist told me that it was likely that he would not take me but she would go ask’ she came back and said no he has an appointment at 6:30! (it was 5:28) and I told her it would definitely be 10 mins or less now… she said well he has something to do! At this point, without rancour, I mentioned that he kept me waiting for 40 mins when I had a wedding a few weeks ago! She huffed and said ill go ask again and very snarkily returned with ‘nope he has an appointment! ‘(Envision someone with a tone talking to a half-witted child not a client begging for consideration of 10 mins) I said I understand and paused waiting for the alternatives… you know…the alternative stylist, the appointment on another day etc.., well folks she just hung up! When i arrived at the mall within my 10 mins Sai was puttering around sweeping by his chair, the salon was virtually empty except for the blonde girl answering the phone - I guess they do not need clients? I walked by and went to another salon. Suggestion - do a deep dive into client service and respect… we are all busy… your prices are at the top end but the service is not (pay the young hair washer more she represents your company well- sadly we 3 are now in search of a more accommodating, respectful salon which I sure is a shrug and a justification or judgement about ‘’those clients’ - to the rest of you reading I can assure you we were gentle polite and respectful in al dealings! we never have an issue paying good money for good service sadly that turned out not to be here!

I got a lobe piercing, downsized a helix and had multiple lobe earrings changed here. Needles were used and everything was cleaned and sterile. The piercer was very informative during the whole process, I barely felt a thing and the jewlery selection is very pretty! I love how titanium jewlery is offered as well. I will definitely be coming back in the future for other piercings.
