What is the point of having after hrs appts when hrs are 5-8 called at 5:01 to be rudely informed all booked up didn't even ask why appt needed. How can ALL appts be booked 1 minute after opening?

Rude and snappy receptionists are not the level of care anyone needs when contacting a physician for ANY reason, but especially not if they specifically say it relates to mental health. Would strongly consider addressing the obvious staffing concern considering there are many reviews that echo this sentiment. Did not attend my appointment because reception was so rude on the phone that I decided to go elsewhere. Will not call here again despite the great experience I had with a medical student on my last visit.

Dr Buetow and the other nurses and staff here are very caring. Usually they are on time and I don’t have to wait long. My only complaint would be that it can sometimes be difficult to reach them on the phones with high call volumes

I don't recommend, and I don't like giving negative reviews, but if I can help someone steer away, not waste their time and consider other options I will. I have been a patient here for 2 years now. Really difficult to get in contact with anyone, I called last year to scheduled an appointment and for months the actual receptionist was away and they couldn't do anything. I have not been in for a visit since the initial new patient meeting because of lack of availability during the times I tried. I find it much easier to go to a walk-in than contact my own family doctor. Shame! Their focus seems to be on new residents and something other than patient experience and care. What others are saying is true, the patient service comes across uncaring. If you don't believe me just try calling and talking to a receptionist.

I had no choice but to give them a 1 star rating it won't allow 0 stars . I have been with Lake Street office for 10 years. The service has drastically change over the years. I've had approx 3 new doctors not including students and maturity leave doctors. They claim to have social workers to talk to you yet when I needed to talk about childhood sexual abuse , I was told sorry we don't have time for you try someone else!! To get in to see a doctor takes approx 1 month for high blood pressure revisit notwithstanding the doctor asked to see me alot sooner. I did explain this to yet another new receptionist. Seriously don't promote you have all these services and not provide it! Needless to say I have no choice but to go to a walk in clinic so I don't have a stroke or heart attack !! Suck up the cost doctor!!

I'm more than pleased to explain, the reception and anyone I've spoken to on the phone has been extremely unpleasant. So much attitude, had to switch doctors because they can't answer their phones properly. Don't believe me give the voicemail a call what a joke.

Adding all these fees when they weren't in anything I signed with my doctor.

I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy such a nightmare. Also p.s they hold your medical documents if you can't afford to pay them.

Terrible and unprofessional and I may add leaves voicemails explaining I shouldn't be rude to them.

I've never been more disgusted by a clinics practice.

I am not sure where these bad reviews are coming from but when I need to get an appoint for Dr. Buetow the office is always efficient very polite and always looks after my questions and needs. I have been with Dr. Buetow for a very long time. Best ever!

I know what it is to have both a bad and a great Doctor as my Family Practitioner. I just want to say to my new Doctor at Niagara North that it's been a while now and thank you. Thank you for everything you've done. You understand and get it right.
