I have been a patient of Dr Gill’s since she first came to Shelburne. I have had the most wonderful experience with her each and every time I visit. She has treated me with kindness, empathy, and makes me feel seen and heard as a patient and mother.

I have had many other visits with the other doctors - Catania, and Caruso. More recently with Nurse Practitioner Judy and Physician Assistant Rachel who both were wonderful and extremely personable always putting myself and my children at ease.

It is an exceptional clinic of physicians, nurses, and admin staff who are leading the way for women in health care.

I have had nothing but the best experience with my Doctor. She is thorough, listens to the concerns of the patient and doesn't hesitate to refer out to a specialist if need be. She has helped me navigate my first pregnancy (during a pandemic), was able to help deliver our baby and is currently helping us navigate all the ups and downs of being a first time parent and all the daycare germs that come with it.

Reception is a busy job and I know that the team that works the desk definitely does more than answer the phone. They are always courteous and has helped me on multiple occasions with suggestions on how to manage symptoms until an appointment is available.

Since I have become a patient I don't think I have waited more than a week or two at most to get an appointment which is a vast improvement for the month or more wait I experience at my previous Doctor's office.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Centre or the Doctors at it.

I had a circumcision with Dr.Caruso scheduled for my son when he was 6 weeks old. This was the earliest slot they had available (and I called when he was born). I show up to the clinic and they tell me his appointment is cancelled. The staff did not call me to inform me because they said they didn't have my number. How is that possible when I called the clinic to schedule the circumcision Dr. Caruso did nothing to accomodate a reschedule and refused to take him at the next available appointment due to the possibility of him being over 10lbs. He's 7 weeks now, still in newborn clothing (he was only 5lbs at birth) so they definitely could take him. I am beyond horrified that I had to schedule somewhere else and he will be much older during the procedure. I found a slot at gentle procedures in Mississauga but he will be 10 weeks by then. I am very upset with the customer service and will not book anything with this clinic in the future.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Catania, the reception staff, as well as the Nurse Practitioner. I love that this is a female run clinic. I have always felt heard when I have gone in with concerns for myself or my family. There can be a wait with reception, but they have always been courteous and tried their best to get me seen asap. Thank you!

Front end admin staff are thorough, detailed, and helpful during each interaction. Doctors and nurses are punctual, thorough in appointments.

Nothing but problems with reception. I have waited on hold many many times to either be hung up on, or just never get through at all. I find them extremely rude, acting as if by calling you are inconveniencing them (that's your job?). My doctor has switched offices and it used to be great, zero complaints, but I've never had as many issues as I now have with the new clinic. I do love my doctor though, she is amazing.

Dr. Caruso absolutely butchered me. I went in for an IUD she wouldn’t give me a specialist referral she told me she has had 100% success rate with them so I trusted her and went with it but after the 2nd time the INTERN tried (which I wasn’t asked if i was okay with them doing. I had 0 knowledge who the person was and why they were doing it) Dr.Caruso was asked to come in and at that point she tried twice herself. That is not a pain anyone needs to endure and I had to deal with it a total of 4 times. When they finally decided it wasn’t working Dr. Caruso said it was because I had two uteruses so she sent me for an ultrasound not only did the ultrasound tech show concern about Dr. Caruso attempting so many times but giggled at the fact she said it was because I had two uteruses. Then I went to a specialist because I refused to go back to her. The specialist tried one time with the same IUD! And got it in first try. No pain no trauma. I told her of my past experience as well and she couldn’t believe it she was baffled by the doctors treatment. It’s not just my bad experience with the doctor the receptionist are brutally rude there almost known for being rude now. My first meet and greet with Dr. Caruso was terrible she’s a money driven doctor that’s arrogant and cocky and she came off that way the moment she said hi to me. She tried to charge me for going to a walk-in clinic but the only reason I went to a walk in clinic was because I couldn’t get in to see Dr.Caruso.

I'm sad to see such poor reviews. I absolutely love it here. Lisa and the other ladies at reception are very sweet and friendly. Dr. Caruso is the best doctor I ever had and I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor to care for myself and my son. During covid, wait times are longer, phone lines are flooded, doctors schedules change. It's just how it is.
