I recently walked in to Northwood Medical center. I cannot express how impressed I was with the level of care and professionalism Dr Yu and his staff provided. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Yu took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my diagnosis, and discussed all the available treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. His compassionate approach made me feel comfortable and well cared for. The staff was equally amazing, always attentive and efficient, ensuring that my visit went smoothly.
I highly recommend Northwood Medical center to anyone looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable physician.

Absolutely amazing experience at this walk-in the staff were polite and helpful, I got there with my daughter a half an hour before they opened she was placed in queue and only waited 35 mins after the clinic opened before she was seen. Dr. Yu was thorough, epic, funny and caring!! Thank you for taking care of my kiddo so well!!

Went in today to see doctor right after work. I reached doctor’s place a 7pm. Was told doctor is not taking more patients in. There were basically 3 families sitting in waiting area. Nothing against the doctor. The doctor is very knowledgeable but it will help people who are coming if you post something online that clinic closes at 7 or no walk in accepted after 7. It says online clinic is open till 8 on Tuesday.

I went in with a really sore throat, told the Doctor that I think it’s strep throat (which I get often). The doctor was very rushed, didn’t even sit down - took a quick peak at the back of my throat, told me that there was a cold going around and to just take halls. He was out the door before I could insist on a strep test. Three days later I went to another clinic where they gave me a strep test and of course I DID have strep and it had become much worse having not been treated right away. Very frustrating, will never go back there.

Waited 1h15m in total before seeing Dr. Yu. Was good and professional. Went beyond in giving me a hand since my regular GP was not in this week, and a 3rd trip to the ER would have been annoying. Receptionist was quite good too.

Several small kids in and out during the time I was waiting, with parents looking happy they could get some help.

Im not sure how there can be negative reviews for this amazing service. Ive accessed this clinic 2x over the past few weeks for myself and my family and couldnt be more satisfied with the help I received. Dr Yu is very kind and personable and his receptionist is very efficient and kind also. Both times I was in and out in under a half hour however I would have been fine with waiting much longer also, for those that say the wait is too long, it must have been a busier day and most likely still a much shorter wait than the ER. Thank you to both of you, hope it keeps running for a long time!

We are extremely disappointed with the services they provide.
One night, we took our two children who were having severe cough.
We were there at 6:20pm and the receptionist told us that they are completely booked for the evening.
While sitting and deciding where we should go next, at least four other families went in.

The next day we returned, the doctor prescribed inhalant for our kids. Our visit lasted for precisely 2 minutes; he simply looked at them and started writing the prescription.

Other kids in the neighbourhood went and received antibiotics. We even asked the doctor about antibiotics and he said that inhalants will work for them.

One, two, three, four days after, no sign of relief; inhalants did not work!!!!

Maybe, others have experienced better service but I am simply sharing my frustrating and disappointing experience.

Very quick to see the Dr. In and out in 1/2 hour. The staff was very quick to take your information when you arrive. The doctor was very nice, professional and had a good sense of humour! I will definitely go back to the clinic!
