The notawasaga health center and specifically Dr Victoria Dawson are running a cash grab Medical practice. They charge fees to even book a simple appointment. They charge you a fee to simply renew your prescriptions and to fax it to your Pharmacy!!! Isn't that what doctors are paid to do by ohip and buy all provincial and federal health funding systems!!! The idea that they want to charge a year-round fee of $144.90 plus tax to cover having their receptionist to answer the phone or make your appointment is absolutely horrendous empathetic. I truly recommend all patients and future patience leave this practice and find another doctor or medical clinic in your area but enough is enough if we can continue to pay these fees and to go to these offices they will continue to increase these fees and charge more and more fees. I recommend going to an over the network type doctor for simple prescription needs and for simple physician doctor questions or concerns. But the notasaga health clinic and Dr Victoria Dawson are a complete rip-off and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

She’s extremely biased, Does not write down clinical notes of what you’re saying just her own personal opinion, You ask her questions she gets nasty, and when you get triggered because of her nastiness, she writes unprofessional notes about you in your personal file. Her office tried to push pills on me time and time again, despite me saying I will not take pills. She needs a lot more experience than she’s got. I’ll tell you that

Most doctors today are hacks, but think theyre House. Find a little concerning that she did schooling in the Caribbean and then she’s practising medicine in Canada. She dropped me as a patient for asking for a statement of disagreement for one of her personal comments saying my physio did not work. The gall of this woman i tell ya! Dont waste your time or energy on this drug dealer.

I love my Doctor, Dr Dawson, but find it extremely hard to get an appointment with her. I fee like I'm flailing in the wind. I try not to take advantage of the system. Help!

Fantastic group of caring individuals. My family is very fortunate to have a great team looking after us. We have never had an issue getting into see our family doctor. Dr. Dawson has always been very practical, honest and a wealth of knowledge. She is great with our 1 year old and I would recommend this team to anyone!

The phone lines are ALWAYS BUSY, no one ever answers and you’re just stuck on a loop of pressing 2 to speak to a receptionist. Their open hours don’t even make sense because you can never get a hold of anyone, I’ve been calling the office for 3 straight days non stop and I have yet to speak to someone about a medication for my mental health. Lack of professionalism

I have had excellent experiences with NFHC! I use their patient portal to communicate with reception staff and they are always very prompt, helpful and professional in responding. They discuss my questions/requests with Dr Furtado and I’ve always had responses within a few hours. I have been able to get tests, appointments and referrals when I’ve needed them. When I’ve had to go in to the office for appointments Dr Furtado has been thorough, friendly and professional, and the reception staff welcoming.
