I first met the staff through an outreach program, and I've been working with Onyx Community Services for about 3–4 months now. It's been a really positive experience—they’ve treated me with kindness and respect every step of the way. Since connecting with them, things have been going well. They've helped me find legal support including family and criminal law, and provided solid one-on-one services that have truly made a difference. I'm pleased with the support I’ve received and would definitely recommend them to others. I just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff at Onyx for all the support and services they’ve provided me.

Cindy, Donna, and the rest of the team have always been the biggest help in getting me support and resources I've desperately needed for a long time in the ottawa area. A welcoming, supportive community. Everyone here goes above and beyond for clients. Gives you hope when things are looking grim. Even with the amount of abuse that sometimes comes through the door, the staff and volunteers always respond with grace.

It's hard to put a place down when everyday there is someone who is helped in these offices.

If you are looking for help, this is a great not-for-profit.

Remember you can only be helped if you are OPEN to being helped.

Love the place! The volunteers & quifiiyed counseling and the law, housing workers, are there, for everyone! We love to feed, the people. No one is turned away. The Not for Profit. I have worked with onyx for 2 years now on my mental health and addictions.
As a client I am satisfied with the dedicated team who support me and work with me on an ongoing basis.
I attend the meal program with has really helped me due to the price of groceries. Looking forward to the Christmas turkey dinner on December 22nd.
