Dr. Khan has been our family doctor for the past two years, and she consistently impresses us with her knowledge, friendliness, and politeness. She always offers the best advice, making each visit a positive experience. We genuinely enjoy going to her clinic, where the front desk staff is also exceptionally friendly and helpful.

If I could give a zero I would! They are completely incompetent and rude. There fridge had gone out (which happens I understand) however they knew about it for a week before my child's 2 months vaccines appointment and never called to inform us so we should rebook the appointment. We changed our schedules around to make the appointment drove 30 minutes to get there and they even had us wait 40 minutes in the office before they informed us that we can't do it. Traveling with a new born can be difficult enough, this added stress was completely avoidable. The complete lack of communication or real apology is baffling....they also only accept cash for doctors notes and forms with no receipts. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone there to make appointments and they don't have a voicemail for a call back option. If you manage to get a hold of someone the appointment is weeks away. This situation was the last straw!

I had appointment with doctor sadiqa khan. But there was conflict with her husband at the front desk. And because of that I and my family was let go and was refused to see the doctor anymore . I never had a chance to see or talk to the doctor again.
I am okay with her husband doesn’t want to take us back but I just want to explain doctor from my side of this whole situation. I am not quick to anger and it takes a lot out of me to get me angry but I felt like I was put in a situation where I felt threatened, powerless,
weak and helpless.
Will I be asking too much or am I out of line wanted to explain the doctor how I felt and what really happened as per my side?

my mother and I are patients of Dr. Khan, and she has always been kind, thorough and does her best to help us with any health issues we have. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has affected me physically and mentally, and Dr. Khan has been the primary physician helping me with treatment alongside specialists at Mount Sinai and WCH. Im honestly grateful, and I want things to be reasonable for family physicians and their staff in Ontario, because the staff at Pickering Ridge Medical are working hard to maintain the clinic and patient needs, and have been working hard since they opened. You can only do so much when the province offers so little for public healthcare, I think you guys are doing great. Thank you to the front desk receptionists (I don't know their names) as well, I've never actually had an issue with any of the staff, I always arrive prepared to be patient and cooperative, they've always been kind to me. They are human as well, so its good to be kind and patient to them. You guys have helped me tremendously with my health, and my life has improved with treatment and following the doctor's advice as well.

This is the only clinic on planet earth which does not entertain phone calls. You have to come in person to get an appointment. On the day of your appointment, you have to wait from 1-2 hours for your turn. The waiting time is insane. They charge $30 cash to refer you to a physio or massage therapist. As a family doctor, referring to another service for a real issue and charging additional fee is a rip off.

Highly incompetent and rude staff. I am a healthcare management professional myself and receptionists are the first point-of-contact for a patient. At Pickering Ridge, the receptionists are extremely rude, to the point where they disrespect and demean you. I am going to launch a complain with the City of Pickering to look into this practice and the abuse of patients happening for so long. There’s a male receptionist in particular, who told me that they don’t pick up phone after 4:00 pm, even though their operating hours on weekdays are till 5:00 pm. He kept going on an on and even insinuated that I am lying. Apparently they have an automated recording mentioning 4:00 pm as the deadline of client support. There was no such recording when I called. The male receptionist kept insinuating that I was lying. Even if they have a 4:00 pm policy, they should change their operation hours till 4:00pm. Although I schooled the receptionist well, he wasn’t apologetic. I realized such incompetent people are the reason patients suffer in every way.

Best walk-in experience I've ever had in Canada!
Right from the start, receptionist, Cathy, was super friendly and helpful as she went beyond to help us!
Dr. Niaz was super friendly, thorough and gave her expert advice! She was superb as well!
I'd highly recommend this place!!

I want to review one of this clinic’s Doctors, Saghar Niaz.

Saghar Niaz is a rude and disrespectful doctor. She does not know how to communicate with her clients. Therefore, I rated this clinic one star.
