TERRIBLE PRODUCT QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Day 1/2 of trying to get the company to respond to me and get a refund. I have emailed multiple times with no response

•Carbon fiber cloth
•Peel ply
•Breather Cloth

All products were folded and shoved into a small box creasing the carbon fiber

Both peel ply and breather cloth are ok quality other then their terrible cutting job

Overlooking the cutting job on the peel ply and breather cloth I need a refund on the carbon fiber.

The carbon fiber is unusable. The quality is so poor and falling apart on me.

Plastic world can of course say that there no refunds on products that are cut to size. But it’s not even like I changed my mind or didn’t want it anymore. I CAN’T USE IT. The material is falling apart on me before I can even cut it to the size I need

This is a simple $80 refund and I’m happy to take this post down.

Day 2 trying to get a response and refund from Plastic World

Attached photos are of the quality of their products. The carbon fiber weave is so loose the white squares are the white background. They are 2mmx2mm holes in the carbon. Also the second photo is the damaged carbon weave.

The other fabric is the peel ply. The material looks like it was cut by a kid

Cuts were not accurate. I ordered two of the same sizes and as you can see in the picture, they are not the same. The longer panel was also damaged and there was a scratch on another. I didn't reach out because the cost of the item was small and they probably didn't care about it in the first place. I don't see it getting replaced and shipped out to me due to the fact. And it's not worth my time to drive out of town to pick up. So, I'm just going to make it work and not expend any more of my time and energy. Also, it should have been done correctly the first time for whoever is cutting all day, they should be very good at it by now.

I also didn't go 1 star because the prices are decent and my previous order was good, but I went in-store to pick up that order. If you're going to place a big or expensive order, or need things to be perfect, I would go in-store to pick it up so you can inspect everything right there on the spot.

These guys are GREAT! Lawrence is always super nice and friendly and just a pleasure to talk to! I usually come in with odd requests and they are patient and helpful! They always cut the pieces perfectly to size, and they have a great turnaround time! Highly recommend this place for your plastic needs! Keep up the great work! 5*

Customer service is incredibly rude. We received 5 damaged pieces out of 6. There was no protective packaging upon delivery. They were just loosely laid in the back of the delivery driver's truck. We reported the damage once the delivery driver left and were immediately blamed for mishandling the product when we hadn't even moved it from where the delivery driver left them. They reluctantly gave us a partial refund $100 out of over $1000 just for us to peel the film off and for 2 of them to be completely scratched and unusable. Probably scratched as a result of shifting around in the back of the truck without being tied down or without any protection on the top or bottom. They didn't respond to our emails about these issues and then when we finally called they said it was our fault for not handling with care. Which we handled it with much more care than their delivery driver demonstrated. When moving them we laid them on a ridgid board of MDF with a moving blanket wrapped around and at least 2 people to handle the product together. We left the protective film on until the end of the project to keep them protected but when calling to get the 2 severely scratched and unusable pieces replaced they told us that it's "obvious" that we should have removed the protective film right away which if that's the case they should inform their customers that that is their expectation. Products are poor quality but the customer service and care is abysmal. We wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Every owner/employee we spoke with needs management training and an attitude adjustment. We're now out over $400 and are having to find an alternative supplier because this company isn't worth a 2nd gamble.

Store is Abit unorganized, bathroom super clean, the gentleman I spoke with had my order ready and amazingly polite. Only problem I encountered was shipping, why I pickup up order in person. Website is spot on. Happy to give them a 4 star review. Definitely a wholesaler, absolutely do business with them again for pickup orders. Give them 5* stars if they revamp there shipping for internet purchases. Thank you plastic world.

Have ordered some polycarbonate here. Everything was good. Quality, delivery, communication were smooth and reasonable.
Have no idea why there are so many bad reviews here. I have only good experience with this company.

I required a display case for a model ship of a custom dimensions. Lawrence really helped me out explaining what they needed, advised which plastic thickness would be most appropriate, fully understood my instructions as to the functionality of the display case and offered to glue the components for me. It turned out perfect. Many thanks.
