At 40 years old I had never had a facial before because my skin has always been very red and sensitive. I finally gave in when I researched Poised Apothecary as a recommendation from a friend. Jolene was absolutely amazing. She is beyond skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely so kind and caring. Not only did I love the facial and indie head massage, she spent time explaining what my skin needed and recommended products. Since then I haven't used anything else and my skin is forever changed. A friend recommended Jolene a few months ago, and she was booked months ahead… good things take time! When I had the chance to go, it was a great experience. Her place is so beautiful and cozy; she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. I loved that she asked me questions before to know how my energy was and how I was feeling overall. Jolene provided me with one of the best facials I have ever had. The environment was safe, healing and therapeutic!
Jolene is very knowledgeable in her products, and I loved how she took the time to explain to me what she was using, and the benefits of it. Jolene made me feel comfortable and confident. I’m someone who has never really felt comfortable with my skin, I have extremely sensitive skin, and a lot of scarring from both acne and eczema. I really can't say enough good things about Jolene and my experience at Poised Apothecary!
Jolene is a very warm and welcoming individual and she paid attention to small details from the moment I arrived. The treatment I received was so thorough and relaxing, I really felt like I was melting into the table.

I just had my first experience with Jolene at Poised Apothecary and there are not enough words to describe how amazing this experience was. Everything from the ambiance and vibe, to the hand-crafted products she creates herself and uses during the treatment- everything is spectacular. I have an exceptionally difficult time relaxing in general but Jolene's aura and deep care into her service allows you to forget everything else going on and enjoy the incredible sensations provided in her treatments. I am so lucky to have discovered Poised Apothecary and I cannot wait for my next (and all future) treatments!

A super relaxing and much needed facial using all the wonderful natural ingredients Jolene puts together herself. The steam facial I really enjoyed. Lymphatic draining and warm bamboo facial was wonderful. Jolene knew exactly what my face and body needed warm bamboo worked my tightness and felt so good! I had the best experience during my treatments with Jolene. I’ve tried it all - the micro needling, holistic facial, head massage AND the warm bamboo massage. Everything she does is out of this world, you can tell she pours her heart into everything details and creates the BEST self care experience!! Couldn’t recommend her more. My face feels incredible after her facials. I won’t go anywhere else!!
