I have been shopping at the St. Catharines Rona for many years. My experiences there have always been positive. The people that work there are very helpful and polite. A couple days ago, I went to Rona to see if they had any perforated and solid drainage pipe and catch basins, etc., for my backyard water issues. Marcelo was extremely helpful and provided me with so much information on what I needed and how to install the drains. I feel very confident now that I can successfully solve the drainage issues I’ve been having. I am very thankful. Henry

Went to Rona (which I've generally stopped doing) and the store reminded my why Home Depot is better in every way. I went against my better judgement because the Black Friday deal in the flyer looked very good. when I got to the store I asked for assistance to find the item and showed the flyer. I was told the flyer is "miss-worded" and I would have to spend an extra $70 they could not honor the flyer price. so long Rona

My complaint isn’t about this Rona location specifically but the company as a whole. You do not seem to have figured out online orders in a time where such a service is so omnipresent everywhere else. I ordered a bathroom vanity on Oct 29 and was immediately told of a delay. Rona also never updates you on the shipments’ progress (every other business that exists today does this). I had to find out myself when the delivery would come in by calling customer service multiple times. Moreover, the delivery kept getting delayed. First Nov 8th, then Nov 15, and no one was comfortable with guaranteeing me when that shipment would actually come in. It took calling a representative at the St. Catharines store to finally get the vanity in by suggesting that they get it from a nearby store in which they had been in stock this entire time. Why I had to wait for a shipment from a distribution center that never happened, rather than get the product from a nearby store is beyond me. Luckily the representative from St. Catharines, who I believe is named Merik, was a rockstar throughout this entire process and made it so that I got the vanity from the nearby store.

Recommendations:
-Though your customer service reps (like Merik) really did whatever they could to help, they should really avoid using the phrase “don’t know what to tell you”. I am experienced with customer service in a professional capacity, and that phrase is a HUGE NO for dealing with customers
-If you (reader) really need to get your product from Rona, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! They do not have that figured out in a time where every other business has. Get it straight from the store if you must.

Well I got an email from you, asking me to review my latest purchase.. which I did. I wrote how there was no complaint about the product ordered. My only complaint was about the curbside pick up process that I followed directly from the email I was sent from you in regards to my online purchase. Just to receive a response from you saying my review didn't meet your website guidelines and you hope to publish my review next time.
This has got to be a joke. Sensoring bad reviews, really?! The product was great, your customer service however, keeps getting worse apparently

So I was just saying to my wife how ridiculous it is going to Canadian Tire or Home Depot that have very few employees to assist you and if you are lucky enough to track someone down, they don't know anything anyways?
Then, there is a store like the St Catharines Rona that has an abundance of employees. However, they obviously don't want to do anything to earn their paycheck? I walk in the store today to come across the 3 woman behind the register, one gave me a dirty look as I entered which I couldn't understand but I'm thinking the fact that there isn't a single customer in the store, she now has to stop her gossip session to deal with a customer? The other young lady spun around with her face in her phone intentionally to ignore the incoming customer, (me) and the third one shockingly actually greeted me with a hello!! Kudos to her for at least acknowledging me but probably could have asked if she could assist me but I didn't want to push my luck? With that said, I continued through the store just to find many other employees standing around doing nothing other than talking to one another and never once thought to ask me if I needed assistance? I guess that's the way it is these days but I walked out never to return without spending a thin dime.
It's no wonder their business is going under and good luck trying to find another job to those losers with no personal or retail skils!

Me and my wife had ordered a flex stack pack online, when arriving to pick up our package the manager there was anything but nice, he greeted my wife by saying “what do you want” I don’t think this is a very professional way to greet someone nor is it away to do buisness with customers, the employee that helped us was awsome they were super helpful and quite kind, the manager was even rude to them when they asked if they could use the computer to locate our parcel for pickup, do yourself a favour and go to Niagara Falls for service!
