Worst hospital service!

Had a scheduled time to arrive at the fracture clinic, and then was made to take a # and a pager to wait hours to be seen.

The fracture clinics waiting room is the food court. . . . Not ideal when you are having difficulty walking/ travelling on your own. Not to mention it’s filthy.

Mostly all employees are miserable and rude.
They don’t ever care about how you feel and treat you like a number not a person.

Emergency is a waste! They only provide a diagnosis not pain relief or even a simple conversation on how to deal with injuries.
Instead DR. Laugh at patients for having the expectation that the hospital will do more than confirm your pain!
USELESS.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hospital last night. We arrived by ambulance with a history of a heart attack, which should have been treated with urgency and care. Unfortunately, the staff's response was completely inadequate. Despite spending three hours there, not even a basic blood pressure check was performed. The lack of attention and proper care was unacceptable, and we left feeling extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the quality of service provided. This level of neglect in an emergency situation is alarming and deeply disappointing. I sincerely hope that the management takes action to improve the situation and ensure better care for future patients.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the ER. The wait times to see a doctor were unacceptable, and the cleanliness of the facility was far below expectations. While most of the staff were rude, I do want to acknowledge one nurse who was kind and attentive while administering medication to my daughter. Unfortunately, her professionalism was overshadowed by the overall poor service. I hope improvements can be made to ensure better care for future patients.

I had a bad experience at that hospital. I went with a strong stomach pain that I couldn't stand. I don't know what to call the person who attended to me because they are not nurses. They study with passion and patience and they are rude. They should be fired. I had to wait 8 hours in tremendous pain. Is it possible? I have my respect for the hospitals in Toronto. They provide better care and the government should look at the hospital in Barrie. Very poor care.

Recently gave birth at RVH, and I can’t thank all of the nurses enough for making my experience so beautiful. All of the nurses from the Birthing/L&D/OBS units are actual angels on earth. I wish I could remember all of the nurses who helped me: Ashton, Jordyn, Cailyn, Sarah, Sam, Laura, Angela, just to name a few - I was sleep deprived towards the end so I know I’m forgetting quite a few. But your hard work, passion and dedication did not go unnoticed and I am so thankful for each and every one of you beautiful humans.

All of the OBs, Doctors and Anesthesiologists who helped me and my son during my 5 day stay were also all amazing (Dr Wu, Dr Lavoie, Dr Shiplo, Dr Thornton, Dr Brown, definitely forgetting a few here too).

Not only that, but a few days after my c-section, I had a suture open up, and the folks in the ER department ensured I was seen quickly - Dr. Zanette really made me feel at ease and helped to calm me and reassure me when my anxiety was through the roof. He fixed me right up and I was in and out in just over an hour. The folks working in the ER work such a thankless job but I hope they know that there are people who appreciate and recognize them for everything they do!

This hospital is slow, and the nurses don’t seem to care that anyone is in pain. My daughter was screaming and crying in pain for 3 hours and not once did anyone come to see how she’s doing. But even worse than that it’s dirty, like disgusting dirty. Garbage all over the floors and small piles of dirt. In our cubby room there was blood still on floor that looks like it was wiped up with a Kleenex.
