I guess it's time for a debate. I normally don't talk about businesses online. So...
Today, about an hour ago, I was washing my car at the Shell gas station in Dorchester. Nobody else was there washing their cars. I went in and asked for change so I could do this...handed her two $5 bills. In the five minutes that I was washing my car someone had pulled into the other bay to clean their car. All is good at this point.
Someone else had pulled behind that car in the other bay waiting to wash their car. This senior distinguished man steps out of his car...while waiting, less than a couple of minutes have passed, he decides to tell me "Geez, I thought I was fussy" a moment later passes, then I get "I'm glad I'm not in a rush". I smile politely.
I haven't even been there 10 minutes. Then the third comment comes. I'm not sure what he said...I was clearly being harassed and he wasn't even waiting behind me. I'm not putting up with this nonsense any longer at this point. As he was being very rude, I tell him that I'm washing my car for my son's graduation. Do you think he cared? That would be No!
I'm guessing he didn't like the fact that I had my own washing materials. A cloth, a bucket, and soap.
So, the older woman who works there decides to give me a hard time when, she didn't even understand the situation. I told her "he's harassing me", guess who's side she chose? and she also said "I was in the wrong". Shortly after, the owner comes and accuses me of spending no money. I told him to ask the lady that works there if I got change...I also told him to count the change in the machine that turns on the water. He did not!
I am a regular customer, they just don't know me. I do expect a full apology from both of them.
This all happened when I was there just over 10 minutes.
Kind of wish I had it on video. Patience is a virtue!

great staff that work here! The two main full time workers here know me by memory, and I always have a good chat with the woman that works there! Friendly staff, and it's full service so they fill your tank and clean your windshield!

Great service in pumping gasoline. Went in there a year back and had to great and welcoming customers. One looked like a playtapus and the other guy had a great smile when he pumped me.
