We didn't a quick stop over on our road trip to buy some vegetables and other groceries. Price was very reasonable and it is closed to the highway.

I really like this store. I see that management and most staff trying really hard to keep things running smoothly and there is always an assortment of sales which help the wallet in these times.

That said, there is one certain employee on cash who is just miserable and I cant tolerate her anymore after today. Glaring at me the whole time, not saying a word, throwing my items around (specifically a case of water). I am almost positive there is a poor review below about her as well.

The straw that broke my back today was she again was glaring at me and slammed down my receipt and a pen for me to sign for my cash back. Im not sorry for the “inconvenience” I guess of handing me a $20 bill.

I am actually hoping via this review her manager or someone in management can reach out to me so I can send them a formal complaint about her. Like I said I tolerated her terrible customer service for years but I am not going to do that any longer. Today I just pictured her treating my grandmother or some other kind senior in the same way and it basically put me in a bad mood for hours.

So therefore if someone can send me a complaint form or send me info on how to lodge a formal complaint about this individual it would be greatly appreciated and I will elaborate in more detail via that submission.

When management gets back to me I will delete my 1 star review or change it to something more reflective of their store.

Expansion has resulted in an easier place to shop but their prices are way out of line. Since 20, prices have jumped 50% to 75% on a lot of items especially meat and even canned goods.

The renovations made more room for coolers,like the glass covers for frozen food but can imagine the staff constantly windexing them lol. Store looks great and staff are helpful and friendly.

Typically our experience at this Sobeys is normally great. However, after going through the store and getting into checkout, the cashier was rude and cold to us. The whole time. Didn't beg our groceries and and state of that she couldn't pick up a case of water and so that I'd have to put it into the cart myself. That wouldn't be a problem if asked nicely. But stating that she couldn't do it and gave me a look like I had to put it back, it was pretty terrible considering we just went over $200 and that's the kind of service we get. Imagine spending that kind of money at a restaurant or at any other store. They need to work on their front end staff being a little bit more friendly. Hopefully our next experience there will be much better
