They are fantastic there I got referred there a few times and I finally got the courage to go there. It is across the street from where I am living so super convenient for me. They are really friendly attentive and resourceful from the start I've only been there twice but each time I got exceptional service. I mean I was really weak and tired and stressed and barely functional the second time I was there the first time I was stressed but not that stressed. They noticed that and they approached me while I was waiting to meet with someone. They listened and realized it was more urgent and they helped me tremendously and made sure I was ok when leaving. I'm so grateful for their service and kindness

It was clean and the staff were friendly but I didn't really get help for anything they just gave me food stamps and helped me with a disability benefit for a student loan. They helped me cancel it her name was Margret Mansell. I didn't think I needed the help for it but she approved it for me and now the student loan has been canceled and I don't have to pay it because of a medical condition I was diagnosed with by Margret who was a nurse practitioner for the clinic and it wasn't very professional.

How is it that Dalhousie Ward lost their extremely valued community center (Dalhousie Community Center) located on Somerset St. West and Empress? It was quite the underhanded mystery. The story I got: Somehow, city officials and Somerset West Community Health Center made a deal (that nobody I know of was privy to) to just hand over our neighbourhood's community center to them. That transaction has irked me since it happened. Blindsided was an understatement. If this had occurred in any other neighbourhood...it would never have been done with such ease and silence from the neighbours. And, while Plant Bath Recreation Center is but a few blocks down Somerset to the west, it is not a community center. I miss our community center. I feel is was taken from our neighbourhood in an underhanded way. A sneaky quiet way.

Well, on the upside, now the Somerset West Community Health Center has the space for a Ford Hub. A place that the addicted can get a hand up - instead of more drugs and associated paraphernalia that just keeps addicts where they are.

I look forward to the day when all of the supervised drug consumption sites are closed. They should never have been permitted to open in regular neighbourhoods to begin with. If some are permitted to remain or open, then they should be operated out of our major hospital campuses (and not squirreled away from public sight in a few unlucky select neighbourhoods).

I had the same family physician in the least last ten years and no complaints. Caring, respectful and helpful without judgment, other than stating facts. Check-in without appointment. Helpful with referrals to other needed services. Love my doctor. I wouldn't exchange for another doctor, unless moving out of the city or province. Access to their services, which are very helpful as well.

Just awful, the wait time is too long,no one picks up the phone.
As a health care worker myself it’s such a sad thing because not having help can lead to serious health complications.

Misleading place. There are " no doctors" there for new people. Only nurse practitioners. But better than nothing. This Province has gone down the tubes, getting worse everyday. Appletree a joke. There are no other " walk in clinics" all fake.
24 Hour waits at the Montfort Nutz!!

Quite happy they saw me very quickly much better than going to an ER.

Nurse practitioners do just as good a job as a doctor.

The elevators have been broken for months bring your mountain climbing gear to tackle their terrible staircase, poorly designed. Not good for Seniors with issues.

I've had positive experiences with their appointment-based walk-in clinic while waiting to get a family doctor
