I feel very blessed to be a patient at Southwest. I receive excellent care from the doctors and nurses on the team, who value my time and concerns. Abbie, their dietician, has provided invaluable information as well. Despite being a very busy place, the reception are always polite and assist with appointments and rescheduling. Highly recommend!

Dr. Martini is a wonderful person, very compassionate and caring. The front staff however, I cannot say the same. Nothing but frustration and always made to feel as such a bother. Appointments/referrals never got booked, calls not returned etc. I never wanted to leave as I really liked Dr Martini, but could no longer deal with front desk staff. They were like pitbulls keeping me from communication with the Dr. (I will keep names to myself) Very sad that this is allowed to happen.

Dr. B Croft and the staff at southwest family health centre are fantastic. My family and I have been patients for 25 years. We have had nothing but great care and support from everyone. My family has been going to this practice, and dealing with the doctors associated with this practice for around 35 years. My parents go here, my older brothers go here, even some of my friends go here.

My doctor's both Dr.Crombie in the past, and Dr.Lita Cameron for the past few years, have always shown me kindness, respect, and due diligence to any issues I've mentioned to them. Dr.Lita Cameron has made me feel like she personally cares for her patients, and has really helped given me a new outlook on life. I could not be any more grateful for her.

The receptionist team has always been amazing too, making sure appointments are made, calls were recieved, and faxes were sent out.

Thanks for the hard work all these years. 🙂

So far so good!!! My family doctor of almost 20 years retired and the one who took over wasn't great. I finally found Dr. Martini and she has always been so nice and understanding. She always listens to me which is rare nowadays. She does not rush me and sometimes I require a lot of patience and understanding because of a brain injury I got from a car accident. She has always does her best to help which I appreciate and she also took my son on as a patient as well which was nice.

Ever since Dr Crombie retired, this clinic has been a disorganized mess. The receptionist team can’t handle booking an appointment correctly when i ask for a phone call, resulting in missed or late appointments. They have also simply not faxed my pharmacy for meds several times resulting in missed medication for up to weeks at a time. One instance i had spoken to reception 3x and was told it would be done “immediately.” Today, they simply told me they received the request days ago and it’s just been sitting there. If you need to talk to one of the counsellors that work here, hopefully it can wait because they never have availability. Dr Warsi never takes anything seriously and has accused me of trying to “add to my collection” and every family member i have that has him as their psychiatrist has said the same thing. The man doesn’t keep up with research, it’s evident, and he’s told me off thinking i do LSD (i don’t) bc he doesn’t know the difference between other drugs. Dr Cameron also doesn’t take me seriously and consistently blows off any of my concerns unless I’m in full hysterics and having a meltdown. It has to get to that point. She’s also completely blown off my husband’s concerns regarding me. I am looking for a new doctor. The only good one here is Abby, the dietician. She’s fantastic and has a lot of information for easy meals and low income food resources. The one star is for Abby. Otherwise, if i could, i would give this 0 stars.
