This is a review for the PHARMACY and not the medical center.

They denied having 2 out of my 3 perscriptions sent over to another pharmacy, when they indeed had all 3 after I needed to get it sent to a closer one when they would not deliver.

I have just become a patient at this amazing medical centre, and when given my medication prescription, my doctor recommended I try the pharmacy because they deliver. I am in Stittsville and metnioned that but said I would ask. They unfortunately were not able to deliver as "the line for delivery stopped just short of me". Which being in my area, happens alot and is understandable.
They had asked which pharmacy id like my perscriptions forwarded too, and I said one in stitsvile, gave them the info and waited. One of my perscriptions I needed right away, my sleeping pills which help me function.
I went to the pharmacy to inquire about my prescription, but they had said they only had one of my perscriptions, not all 3. Which included my sleeping pills.
I understand that pharmacies are very busy, so I waited and called myself to make sure they got transfered over.
For 3 days I tried to contact them and inquire about where my other 2 prescriptions were, and was told that they were only given one. Which was odd, because they were all given to them at the same time.
The first time, they refused to walk the 2 feet over to the reception to ask them about it. and said I had to call the busy medical center. Which resulted in 2 days of me trying to get a hold of the medical counter.
Finally I begged the pharmacy lady to please tell recieption to call me if they themselves wouldnt ask, which they did.
The medical recieption lady told me that they had indeed sent all 3 but said she would just forward them again to my new pharmacy.
I felt like the pharmacy threw me to the wind and did not care once they sent my info over, and did not make any attempts at all until the end of 3 days to help me make sure i get my other prescripotions.
They held my medications from me, and I feel like it was because I was too far for them to deliver.
Needless to say, be weary when ordering from this place. They seem to pick who they help.

Modern, clean clinic with friendly staff. Parking is $3, cash and credit/debit accepted. If you have no insurance there's a $65 fee (cheaper than most places).

They don't have ultrasound but they do have a bloodwork lab. I got there at 9:30am and there were only three other people. It fills up at around 10am so go early if you're a walk-in. Otherwise after 5pm is also pretty slow.

Doctor was kind and helpful, same goes for the pharmacists.

Update: Not a walkin clinic any more, they closed the walk in clinic on feb. 1st, 2023.

Long waiting line to get in and of course long waiting time to see a doctor. It might be just this clinic or it might be the health system in Ontario. In any case, this walk in clinic is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 12 then from 1 to 5. You need to get here one hour before opening if you really need to see a doctor. Don't expect any courtesy at this place, particularly from the "LifeLabs" attendance, the worst ever, no human empathy at all.
The clinic is located in the basement, waiting room is very small and shared with the lab and pharmacy. You can hear the pharmacy answering the phone, the clinic and lab receptionists asking all kinds of questions to clients and the footsteps on the first floor, all at the same time.
No hands sanitizer or mask available here.

I don’t know if they got new management, but I got a new family doctor that moved previously and the difference is HUGE. I was seen on time, with great care, and got my blood work done within less than an hour. They really have improved, so I wouldn’t look at the previous reviews. I’m so thankful to have this medical centre!

The phone situation is true but that is mostly because there is only one receptionist and It is frustrating when you can’t reach them to book an appointment. However the doctor’s assistant here is an amazing man that is kind and welcoming just like the doctors. It’s only the reception that is really frustrating. A better alternative that is a walk in is Dr. Ghamins clinic located at 2500 St. Laurent Blvd unit 108

Since we joined this clinic, Dr Omar has consistently given my family the best treatment, working to make sure all our concerns are heard and addressed. It's incredibly reassuring to have a provider who is committed to the health of his patients.

Was a patient from 2019 to 2022. Original doctor moved out of the country and we were switched to a new doctor without issue.

The intake for reception needs to be improved. More than once I have put my health card in the little bucket and they didn't see me do it or forgot about it, and didn't even LOOK AT my card for over 20 minutes.

I moved out of the Ottawa area in November 2022 and informed them of this immediately, but they did not take me off of their patient list for over 6 months which prevented me from getting a new local provider. I had to call health care connect to remove my patient status manually.
