Would like to know how you hire drivers who drive recklessly on the roads. This afternoon on Hwy 9 and then onto Hwy 400 around 4:30 / 4:45. Riding right up behind people and over limit and then switching lanes tightly. Have photo of vehicle.

Was excited to begin a new chapter with a new food service company.

Big issues with our pre-determined time if our first delivery on a Friday, 4 hours before we open. I was suppose to be putting my first order away giving keys to the driver, showing how to do the alarm. only to get a call stating the time had changed to 10to1130. which normal could have been fine, but since I was opening today but had a doctor's meeting at 10 to 1130 it would not work for me. Only to have the sales rep explain they cannot arrange times for drivers it's a window. but then 20 seconds later she tell me they have to arrange key drop offs and training and that if I misunderstood well to bad.i then said to this lady the sounds like a typical sales person misdirecting blame. she felt attacked and abused then proceeded to cancel our order.

So go with Stewart's Food Services if you want incompetent staff and problems.

I have been dealing with Stewart's for years now. But recently there are sending rotten beef that they froze. That's expired 4 months ago. This has happened over the last several weeks and it cannot be used and very upset that we only refunded one out of four cases. Same same with many other products, potatoes or rotting bags are falling apart and they still drop them. So then I I have to pay the dump fee for hundreds of pounds of potatoes. This is getting ridiculous. Complaining goes nowhere. They make you feel like you're trying to scam the most something time to find a new company for my businesses
Would look at other companies before considering this one

It seems that there are ongoing issues with drivers of this company. I came here to reach out about a situation only to find several other negative reviews regarding reckless driving. So not only are drivers running into buildings and causing damage (only to then leave the scene without reporting) they also seem to bit of a terror on the 400 series highways. You may get your products in a timely manner, but it would appear that it is at a risk to the safety of people and finances.

Terry hunt who was our sales representative didn't remove my name off of my previous restaurant which I sold 4 years ago which I made is clear to him and peter to remove me and they said yes we will. What they did behind my back was they went along with peter who is in accounting at Stewarts food services and fraudfully sent deliveries to the restaurant I sold even after I had asked them to close the account. They have done this for years and only came to know now because it was sent to collections and that they didn't remove my name and I have to pay for someone else order. I came to also find out that the person they helped with sending these orders under my name was ordered by friends of terry hunt and peter whos name is Jay who was close to them and had advised them to keep on sending orders under my name. Do not go to this company or deal with these two. They are fraud.

Great service drivers always cheery especially Stacy my regular driver: Kevin is an awesome salesman alway goes the extra mile to make sure we are taken care of. I have been a Stewart’s customer for about 10 years. It’s been a little rough because of the COVID but they are still doing a great job.
