The Villa Care Centre

So many design flaws. Rooms are divided in a way that only one person gets the window rather than building the rooms so each person gets half the window on their side. Rooms should have been made wider instead of longer to do this. The entrance to my grandmothers floor enters right into the dining room. We didn’t know this and walked in on everyone eating their lunch. This seems very rude and disruptive. There’s a huge lack of visual supports for people with memory issues. Place feels way too much like a cold hospital. Not enough things out for individuals to keep themselves busy. Lots of just sitting and wandering with little guidance. So far not impressed with this place.

We have had nothing but positive experiences at the Villa. We are pleased with all aspects of care, food, activities, staff, and administration. The new building is beautiful. I feel grateful my loved one is in your care. Thank you.

The staff are extremely good.
