The one star reviews surprise me because, at least Bodysafe, were extremely fast and efficient. I got an infection from a barber and the inspector was at that barber two days after I reported it.

so far so good Now lets see if the food safety inspector calls. The woman took m info on my food poisoning and was efficient and friendly. We are so blessed to have a good agency like this one. Try living in Costa Rica. Dogs are allowed to attack seniors and no action is taken!!

I am a realtor and I eat out a lot. What I have learned about TPH, MOST THINGS they do makes no sense. Going into a restaurant and checking if their coolers, fridges, freezers, steamers and warmers are running according to the temperature; does NOT mean they (the restaurant owners) can NOT serve rotten food! For example, any cooked dish at home, how many days or weeks can you keep it in the fridge and serve and eat and even though your own fridge stays to the right temperature?, do you think your cooked food would be good forever!!? Best example milk.. !! TPH never try food samples! Once I called TPH to notify about rotten food; as soon as I noticed that the restaurant (fast food/ take out in Scarborough (namely "BABU catering and take out)) had sold me rotten food and I insisted that they (TPH) should go take some food samples but sadly, their (TPH) answer I got was "sorry. we only check the equipment and operating conditions and we do not do food sampling". How sad. The health minister should change these policies for the sake of public safety. If TPH and all the other PH departments started food sampling on a random basis, trust me, more than 70% of these filthy restaurants would be shut down in less than few hours!

I pass by this building multiple times a week. The street level is unsanitary and clients loiter near the entrance constantly. This year, there have been tents pitched outside this space with syringes strewn on the sidewalk for days. Public health needs to be finding a balance of safety for its clients and the surrounding community.

I called public health to get my covid I'd for my vaccine passport. They told I should received it in 4 week max after I called 3 time since September 22. Its now been more than 2 month and I still haven't received anything. And I'm only asking for a Covid ID. I tried calling today too and they just put me on hold afterward and hang up.

Update: You can now actually call the vaccine clinic directly. Just have your vaccine info on hand.

I have to agree with everyone else here. Called several times to just wait precious time on the phone until the system automatically hangs up. Such a ridiculous and broken system at the expenses of tax payers. Such disservice should be brought to the attention of the media that all they are forced to talk about is the vaccine but refuse to expose the fact that the government is miserably failing to provide its citizens with the basic services and support that we pay for.

Outside of the building is pretty run down now, sad to see and I try to avoid the area now. There are many folks who hang around outside here, sometimes there are a few aggressive ones appearing to be on drugs and many of these people leave garbage absolutely everywhere. The location for this is not right being directly beside a university with young students and dundas square which is filled with tourists. Something should be done about the appearance outside while the site remains open here but really it needs to be relocated.

This is by far the worst experience that I had at Toronto Public Health. Some of the staff here are extremely rude and so condescending considering that they are suppose to care for the overall well-being of the city. Stay away from this woman named Anne Arthur at the CDSU unit. She would listen on her staff to see what they are saying behind cubicles, and I witnessed this myself. This is so childish and inappropriate, staff deserve the respect that they deserve and you can't have managers having control over indirect bullying.
