Truro Primary Care Clinic

Nobody has been answering the phone at all during the month of May 2023. I was able to see a very helpful and considerate NP at this clinic in March 2023 BECAUSE SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE!! I was late for my appointment in March by about 5 minutes because google displays the wrong address for the clinic. It’s not on Prince Street, it’s on Willow Street. I informed the admin at the check-in desk, and she told me “you can never trust google for directions.” I’ve been calling all month… May 10, 2023: 22 attempted calls. May 15, 2023: 31 attempted calls May 18: 9 attempted calls May 19: 2023 16 attempted calls… For a grand total of 78 attempts at reaching someone to make an appointment. SEVENTY-EIGHT CALLS, NO ANSWER. ALL DURING THE BOOKING HOURS, SPECIFIED ON THE VOICEMAIL. The voicemail says not to leave a voicemail, as YOUR CALL WILL NOT BE RETURNED. It always says that there’s no more appointments available for “today,” but doesn’t specify what exact day. The voicemail needs to be updated DAILY, WITH THE DATE OF THE DAY, so people trying to book appointments know this phone line has not been PERMANENTLY ABANDONED!

Even when you call before or at the very very start of business hours, they won’t answer until they inform you all the appointments have been filled up (even though they supposedly just opened half an hour ago). You can’t leave a voicemail requesting an appointment and you can’t make an appointment in person; your only option is the phone and they never pick it up until it’s too late. I’m not usually the type to leave reviews but wow..
