I had a positive experience unlike many others here. The receptionist were attentive and the nurse was excellent as well as the x ray technician. I was seen by Dr. M Lee and he was very thorough.
The amount of stupid questions asked by people was astonishing. Some of them with no health cards , asking if they can wait in car? Bunch of slobs brining coffee in and leaving your coffee cup there with drips all over the counter. How long is the wait?
What do you expect? It’s a Sunday afternoon and I really don’t think anyone wants to be working on a Sunday. People are disrespectful and slobs. Thank you

First time visiting and was pleased with my experience. Go to the kiosk and get a number. Registration will call your number and get all your information. Then you will go to triage where they take your vitals. They will then call your number to go into a room to see a doctor

Staff were kind, professional and wait time was reasonable. Dr was informative and didn’t rush

We usually come here on weekends or evenings when we can't get in to see a doctor. Staff is generally friendly. The facility is equipped with x-ray and ultrasound. Wait times are much better than going to a hospital.

Our last visit was rushed. It was the weekend and we couldn't visit our son's pediatrician. We were in and out within an hour. Our 4 year old son had high fever 39.5 and was complaining of throat pain. His skin was flush too. The doctor saw him and in under 2 minutes diagnosed him with a viral infection. 4 days later and he was still experiencing high fevers requiring both Tylenol and Advil to reduce pain. Thankfully we were able to see his regular pediatrician today. Based on his skin color she could see that he likely had scarlet fever. She swabbed him for strep throat and scarlet fever and the rapid test turned positive instantly. We felt extremely disappointed that this conclusion was not realized on the weekend at the urgent care clinic.

This clinic has a lot of great potential. But trust your gut and get a second opinion if necessary. Advocate for rapid tests if you think you have a bacterial infection.

I would return to the clinic in the future if I had no other options. But I recognize that it is a fast paced visit and I may not necessarily receive the proper treatment.

When a patient comes into your establishment, it is important to main a patient's need for confidentiality. Asking them to disclose the reason for their visit, in a waiting room that has about 50 people watching, listening, isn't ideal. Even with a built in microphone, you're still talking over plexi-glass and need to speak in a fairly loud tone.
I explained that I didn't feel comfortable disclosing my reason so publicly and there was no attempt to meet me halfway. I decided to leave and take my health concerns elsewhere.

Highly recommend. They are open on Sundays and their wait times are reasonable. Dr. Vayalumkal had excellent bedside manners and the X-ray tech, Jaya (sorry if I misspelt her name) was very friendly.

Came here to see if I could get stitches for a deep cut on my foot from doing yard work. Didn't know you'd need to get stitches within the first 6-8 hours of your wound. Instead the doctor helped to clean my wound and used some liquid stitches to "glue" my oozing wound together.

Please note, even though their website says they open at 10am. When I arrived at 9:55am, there must've already been 15 patients already waiting in line so I recommend to arrive earlier than you'd expect. I was seen and treated within 2 hours.

Thank you to the staff this morning for all your help!

I can only imagine what the wait time is for urgent walk-in care is. Waiting two hours for a booked appointment is excessive. These should be controlled variables that have obviously run array. Where has “the best health care” in the world run off to? Two hour wait time is not acceptable for a booked appointment!

I went to this VAUGHAN Urgent Care on Tuesday July 2nd 2024 around 6pm. The triage nurse was amazing and the tech who gave me my XRAY. The ladies at the front desk pointed me to get a number so they would know when to call me next. The receptionist says “it’s behind the poll” instead of telling me to use the computer by the poll. My mother and I were looking everywhere behind the poll, as if this was a joke to them or something. Very incompetent and disrespectful. That’s the first thing. I WAS AT THIS TRIAGE FOR 2 HOURS OR MORE! I have a psychiatrist doctors note that I CANNOT wear a mask because I suffer from severe anxiety. And I told these incompetent receptionists but they were adamant that I wear a mask and they DIDN’T even want too see my docs note. They wanted me to wear a plastic shield… no thanks! I had breast cancer, I’m not wearing a PLASTIC shield either. Also, I thought the government banned plastic The receptionists told me that if I don’t wear a mask or shield the doctor will not see me.I decided to stay on a phone call for 2 hours so I wouldn’t have to wear that silly cloth on my face!Where is the logic in this, I don’t have to wear a mask when I’m on my phone. But I have to wear a mask when I’m not on my phone! (My dad was KILLED 85 days after he was called in by his family doctor to take the booster, he was already weak, he just fought cancer and was in remission). These doctors and the receptionists should be re-educated. I will be taking this issue higher up! The receptionist should have asked to see my note! I couldn’t breathe with that mask on, I was having major anxiety and I was told just to take deep breaths through my mask where I’m breathing in my own carbon dioxide.I’ve had severe anxiety and panic attacks since I was really sick in 2017 - up until today which is July 2nd, 2024.TAKING DEEP BREATHS FOR ME DOESN’T WORK, IT MAKES MY ANXIETY WORSE!Also there were several patients in the waiting room that weren’t wearing a mask, even when they went into the next area to see the doctor, I’m not sure what they had to do to get around not wearing a mask! I will be going much higher. I’m not impressed!! WHAT REALLY UPSET ME WAS THE DOCTOR ON CALL THAT EVENING DIDN’T EVEN CHECK MY THROAT EVEN AFTER I TOLD HER MY THROAT WAS HURTING! I had a fever of 39.8 degrees, the triage nurse gave me 2 Advils with a small paper cup with water in it so I can take the meds and it did break a bit of my fever. I left there with a fever of 38.4 The doctor told me she’s not prescribing me any meds, she said to drink honey with warm water. In 5 days if I’m still not feeling better to come back to this incompetent urgent care! No thanks.

UPDATE UPDATE *

The next day on Wednesday July 3rd, 2024. I decided to go to the Urgent Care Center in Woodbridge (beside shoppers drug mart). I got there around 6:45 and waited about a half hour to be seen. From the receptionist all the way to the doctors they were absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. It was my choice if I (and other patients) wanted to wear a mask. I felt so much better, as I mentioned above I suffer from severe anxiety and I’m not able to wear a mask (I also have a note as I mentioned above). The first thing the doctor did was looked dwn in my throat and told me I had one of the worst throat infections and I was put on antibiotics right away! He also checked my lungs and so on. If I still felt ill, I was told to come back within 48 hours.

I will always come back to WOODBRIDGE Urgent Care Center as they are much more knowledgeable than the Urgent care in Vaughan!

The Urgent Care Centre on Jane Street is beyond expectations. The reception person, intake nurse, attending nurse and the physician all redefined professionalism. The place is setup to ensure the treatment areas are efficient for a timely turnaround. I only wish this model of treatment would be duplicated throughout the city.
