The extensive years of experience as an ophthalmologist are evident in his exceptional care for his patients. The office and staff are consistently busy, largely due to the high volume of patients visiting from the United States and Canada.

Overnight I developed vision loss in my left eye.
After nearly of year of back and forth to my eye doctor, I was finally referred to Dr. Ventresca and his staff.
Everyone at the office has been wonderful but what has impressed me the most is the time Dr. Ventresca offers me, each visit.
He thoroughly explains what the situation is and through his experience, is able to lay out the next step in your process.
To date, the treatment has helped me significantly and the clarity in my vision continues to improve.

My mom, 98 years old left their office in tears today. It is my understanding from todays visit Dr. V has no apathy nor communication skills to deal appropriately with patients. My mom had ligitament questions and apparently Dr. V simply walked out of the room, unwilling to help, or communicate with her.
My mom will seek professional medical help elsewhere.

Dr Ventresca’s policy of making elderly people wait outside in the cold for appointments does nothing for peoples health or the environment as people will let thier cars idle while they wait. During the height of Covid this policy might have made sense. The staff made my mother with a respiratory condition and very poor mobility go back outside and offered her a chair to wait outside in 5C rain. Does this sound like a smart policy to keep people healthy? Avoid this practise if possible.

I feel that Dr Ventresca is a very knowledgeable doctor. It can feel like he’s running an assembly line there, though. Some staff are not too friendly to the many elderly patients. No matter your age, you should not be treated without respect. I also feel that patients who attend may be vulnerable and this could be taken advantage of.

Office staff were excellent, there are a number of tests needed before you actually see the doctor, so your back and forth to the waiting room a couple of times till the next test room is available. Once your in to see Dr Ventresca you’ll get an understandable description of your eye problem, and see what’s going on on a display monitor and the necessary steps that need to be taken. Five stars isn’t enough!

Don't go here if you value your vision. Dr. Ventresca made me feel very unsafe and not careed for. Go anywhere else where they are properly able to care for such a delicate aspect of your life and wellness. Their facility was dated and there was little effort or care present in the building. Better to head to Toronto or something.
